Chin Pirako’s permanent yandere eyes + Ai Nonaka’s voice makes for a terribly scary combination.

Still, her references to “red flowers” and “flower gardens” are so hilarious. Even more so when poor Gin-chan tries to defend her on the wrong basis after all. Him freaking out and trying to look for “Dryaemon” and Kagura’s impression of it were the highlights of this episode for me.

Man, this episode made me feel like spending a relaxing weekend at an hot spring inn for some reason. Preferably at Kissuisou.

For some reason, this is one of those episodes that are enjoyable to watch but not really that much I want to write about.

*Ahem*, so Ohana manages, after much difficulty to finally find Tooru and get him back to the inn. As expected, everything went smoothly after that, except maybe Yamakan traumatizing that one guy with his belly dancing antics. Seriously, what the fuck was he thinking back there?

In the end though, poor Kou-chan had to go back empty-handed without meeting Ohana. Really felt for the poor guy, after all that trouble he went to. Guess it just wasn’t his day either.

On the other hand, the contest for Tooru’s heart looks like it’s going to heat up already. All that hints that he kept throwing for one. And then there was Ohana collapsing in his arms too. Lucky Minko-hime wasn’t around to see it.

Of course that ties in to next week’s episode, where apparently our beloved heroine falls sick and gets some TLC from Tooru.

But we all know the previews are pretty misleading at first anyways!

Maekawa-sensei!!!!

If last week was Ryuuko’s episode, this week Maekawa takes the spot. Unfortunately she isn’t all that interesting at all compared to the rest, so I was mainly quite bored in the beginning. The latter half spiced things up a bit, but still didn’t feel like it had the energy of the previous weeks. Probably had to do with the utter lack of Meme’s appearances. Even Erio felt rather subdued this week.

At least there was a shot of twintail Erio to make up for it…

To add insult to injury, this week’s episode felt like it was outsourced 95% to Korea or Vietnam somewhere with off-model drawings everywhere, adding to the feeling that this was really a throwaway episode as they rest the main animators for the later episodes. Oh well, considering SHAFT, this is a pretty standard thing they do anyways.

The only interesting thing this week was probably Makoto finally giving proper adolescence points to all those “events”. I was about to label him gay if he gave negative points to the towel scene.

Holy crap, that was pretty awesome given the normal quality of show’s TV incarnation. Let’s forget about the earlier episode that aired though, because it doesn’t really count as a proper one.

Hell, the episode was already awesome even BEFORE that fight started. First, Shizuku almost raping Natsuru before getting cuntblocked by Akane and Mikoto. Then, out of nowhere, the two frustrated ones started french kissing each other until their hips gave out. After that, a new Zoumotsu animal (fittingly a penguin) played by tsundere queen Rie Kugimiya appeared and hypnotized Mikoto leading to her almost raping Natsuru after Kaede had her turn with him. And then only the fight started. Repressing the urge to touch yourself while watching this episode was pretty hard. It was a pretty daring episode all round.

It’s really stuff like that I kinda want another season of Kampfer to come, even though another part of my mind tells me I shouldn’t even think of it. I mean, aside from Natsuru being the densest material known to all mankind, the rest of the show can go to pretty awesome. Like Kaede.

Finally got it. A little disappointed DHL took 3 days to deliver it to me, but oh well.

The original soundtrack is only disappointing in how short it is but otherwise finally getting the clean versions of the BGM’s of the show really feels good.
