Hot Pants is Awesome

Dog Days

I have all the reason I need to put Dog Days on my watch list now. Hot Pants is awesome. Even her Chocobo is awesome.

And lol at poor Green getting groped, stripped and publically humiliated.

    Star Driver’s cast + Geass’s Wakamoto + Nanoha’s animation studio.

I’ve decided. Gonna follow this for as long as I can.
Just as I followed IS for its plot and mecha.

I’d planned on watching this until the “battle” in episode 1 turned into a sports festival.

There any improvements on episode 1 aside from the inclusion of hot pants?

Let’s put it this way. Aroduc absolutely LOVED this episode and if you know him, that’s a pretty big deal.

Needless to say, I greatly enjoyed this episode too. It’s a whole lot better than the first one, even before Hot Pants came in and stole the whole fucking episode.

Here’s a bit of fairly irrelevant trivia: supposedly, when they were first introduced in 60s London, hot pants caused several car accidents.

I was mulling over dropping this show, but I’ll stick around for a bit longer to see if this show is any good now. Because of .

    @ Kurogane
What?! Arduc actually loved it! That’s something you don’t hear very often. Actually when you think about it, there are quite a few series where he talks as if he does not like them but still continues to watch and blog them so although he talks cynically, I’m sure he likes a lot of series more than he’s saying.

Amazing, Arduc likes this show? I was already going to watch it because of the voice actors and Nanoha designs, but now I’m even more interested.

I don’t know if it was the extra humor watching all the defeated guys turning into fur balls, the extra Eclair action/service or maybe just the main character’s fabulousness not feeling quite so out of place in his new outfit but this was definitely an improvement over episode 1.

Hmm, I might pass this one… Not interested because of Koyasu.

He’s awesome in voice acting, but his pet project is so meh!

I’m not sure why, but the boundless idiocy exhibited by all the major characters is more endearing than obnoxious in this show. I’m in for the duration, I think.

Also, in B4 someone makes a Shinku AMV to “Bitches” by MSI.

I anticipate that Dog Days doujins would storm the media in the next few days. Hmm… dogs eh… now… it is up to Shinku (the master) to tame the dogs… all of them… ==” oh and cats too…

    Well… once you adjust your expectations and realize that this isn’t Utawarerumono, but rather Takeshi’s Castle, things get much easier to swallow ^_^;

The summoning princess seems like a purple snoozeball, and the hero is a terrible poser, but Hot Pants (who seems to be wonderfully devious) alone is already enough to carry the show, and Eclair was quite enjoyable too.

So, bring it on. More of that!

Oh man, this anime. This is just. I don’t even.

It’s /fun/. Generally there’s one of these a season, an anime that doesn’t try to do anything but make a fun show to watch. I have a feeling that Dog Days is this season’s.

Tsun-Tsun Dog is Tsun. Hero is an idiot, but a likable one. The battles… I actually enjoyed the battles in this more than I enjoyed them in anime that actually focus on action scenes.

I was smiling the entire time I watched this. I’m going to follow this, and I will enjoy it. I don’t care if it’s silly, or if it doesn’t have some huge plot or whatever. It’s enjoyable.
