Gekijouban Puella Magi Madoka Magica?

Puella Magi Madoka Magica

I certainly hope this will remain a parody, but if it does happen, I think I might just fly to Japan to watch it when it opens.

If this happens, Japan may be having another issue aside from recovering from earthquake losses… with the likes of overcrowded theaters and hotels… an eerie sight though

If it’s real I guess we won’t get a proper ending, but something that’ll lead into a movie?

Man, the ending will be a great cliffhanger where the movie takes place in a mess up realm. There the whole Magical Girl gang will fight off old and new witches while fight their own fears and despairs, with Kyubey and his people as the end boss. That would be the great movie that was ever made.

Probably it would end with both Homura and Madoka returning back to time, with Madoka asking Kyubey to return back to the past.

It could be like the Nanoha movie, or the Shana movie, i.e. a remake rather than a sequel.

Maybe the film will be an extended version of Homura’s time-leaping?

Isn’t this an advertisement for a roadshow? Oh, the year is 20xx. Guess it’s just a parody then.

    Translation?

This is a parody poster announcing a Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Doesn’t really matter what the words mean for me, but if someone would translate them, I’ll be very happy to update the post with it.

    Very rough translation:

    help… the past I will…
    save you…
    Absolutely—any number of times
    — It’s a promise

    My interpretation:

I will help… In the past I will… save you… Absolutely— how many times it takes— It’s a promise.

Hope this helps. *goes back to study japanese*

do you know what’s written down ?

The last line has 劇場版 which reads げきじょうばん and means: movie version (based on TV series, anime, etc.); the movie.

Year 2011 country wide road show.

Then the last small line したらいいな… I am not sure but to me looks like “It would be good if the did wouldn’t it…” -> which would confirm that it’s fan made.

I wouldn’t mind watching a movie version of the series from Homura’s point of view through all the iterations. In fact, I’d love to.

    @ Destroyar0:
You got it right literally but you need to add them to the context too. The last line needs to be phrased better but it works.

    Madoka: Help… the past me…
Homura: I will save you… I definitely will, no matter how many times it takes… That’s a promise.

    @Kagekyuubi

    thanks for the fix!
Actually I didn’t realize the left part was Madoka speaking, the color of the words is also different!

I would also love a movie version of episode 10 :D

What I’m interested in now at this point is what the runes end up saying. They’re faint, but you CAN see them at the top and right above the title. And just from pattern recognition, I can tell that the last line of runes probably says ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica’.

If something like that had happened, I’m pretty sure that the news would be moving around the anime community by now…. one would hope, anyway.
