OH GOD TAKUTO, NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME. NEVER.
Also, the fujoshis Japan is goddamned fast when they are motivated.

Oh Sayaka, oh my dear, dear Sayaka…. Continue ->

I just couldn’t stop myself from doing it. Pretty sad they wasted Norio on a 2-bit villain role.
On the other hand…

Wait, what?!

Hot damn, that victory pose is utterly made of FABULOUS and WIN. I was totally expecting Takuto to finally lose, but guess it’s just not meant to be. Not to mention, giving him a mid-season tier upgrade as well. Also; STAR SWORD THROWING! SHIELD BITS/PILES! GIANT GLOWING STAR SWORDS! This week’s fight has to be the best of the show yet so far.
And I haven’t even mentioned about the crazily detailed 3D eyecandy of the seals in the Zero Time. Continue ->

That was single-handedly the funniest and most awesome moment in Index II so far.
Mainly because I so didn’t expect it from Orsola, who’s been spending the entire season being pretty air-headed. Guess she’s not just voiced by Sheryl Nome for no reason!

Well, glad they finished up the first novel already, although they raped the story hard. Can’t really blame them on my side either, it’s not a very good mystery anyways.
Kazuya was slightly manlier this week, dealing that face punch (complete with brass knuckles) right after swerving through axe swings and what-not, but he should’ve kept those on for safety. Anyways, the character dynamics of Kujo being the dumb sidekick/romantic interest/protector to our genius gothloli Victorique is now firmly established with this episode.
Yeah, it may be boring for most of them but on the flipside, there’s always Victorique being cute…

Next week is going introduce semi-rival Avril in to the show. Not really a fan of her types.

“Why, why. You look very delicious, pretty little Puella Magi.” Continue ->
The North American anime distributor Funimation has informed ANN that the Fractale Production Committee — the Japanese copyright holders of the Fractale television anime series — has forced the company to halt its simulcast of Fractale after only one episode. According to Funimation representatives, the committee requested that Funimation eliminates unauthorized videos of the anime on the Internet — including streaming sites, file-sharing networks, and file servers — before its simulcast will be allowed to continue. As a result, there will not be a simulcast of the second Fractale episode tomorrow, and the rest of the series’ simulcast is on indefinite hold.
Funimation Marketing Director Lance Heiskell told ANN, “We are disappointed that this series has been distributed illegally, and we’re actively working to remove the first episode from illegal streaming and downloading sites; we’ve got a dedicated anti-piracy team in place that works on controlling all of our simulcast material. However, our Japanese partners for this series have decided that since this episode is currently uncontrolled and is available illegally in all territories, they don’t want the episode online.”

America: “Wait, this is retarded!” “So you mean the only way now is to watch the show illegally?” “We understand your frustration, but it should be directed towards the speedsub groups that created this problem.” “I’m prepared to send you the name and address of at least one prominent member of a speedsubbing group who did Fractale.”
The rest of the world: NOT A FUCK WAS GIVEN THAT DAY.
UPDATE: Looks like they got it back somehow. Nice try, marketing.
