Sora no Otoshimono Forte ends

Good job ruining the show for me, AIC.

P.S. Well it looks like the SoraOto movie is going to be the Hiyori arc after all.

    Dear Kurogane,

I was wandering what you would say on your blog after watching this episode =/, I know it has become lame but on the other hand, now, I have some questions for you.

What would you have like to see in SoraOto anime ver.?
Did you want to see the same storyline as the manga?
How would you have seen the ending of the second season?
Where do you think they f***ed things up first?

I was just wondering ’cause your post just resumes my mind about it… =/

(sorry for the syntax, I speak french ^^)

Well, a decent adaptation of the manga is fine. Heck, I wouldn’t even have minded a little original stories, but ruining the characters and fucking around with the canon is too much.

    >How would you have seen the ending of the second season?

It was horribly random? Especially that last part with Tomoki being forced to choose his “bride”.

    >Where do you think they f***ed things up first?

Idk, when they decided on the second season so damn fast?

Actually they had enough material from the manga for a decent second season.. but instead we get this, so yeah.

Too bad it didn’t quite meet the expectations I had for it after watching the first season…

    @Kurogane Shiroikaze

Thank you for your fast reply !

I’m looking forward to continue reading your awesome blog I discovered not so long ago! After Sora no Otoshimono, I’m waiting for the last episodes of Oreimo!, MM!, Yosuga no Sora, Star Driver, Amagami, Motto to love-ru and The world god only knows which I began to watch shortly after I read about your opinions and comments.

I like how you put it clean, simple and funny, keep on the good work! ^^

so sad, how could the creator destroy a good funny show. The ending is horrible and there is not much plot advancement for the characters.

sometimes they change the anime compared to manga… well most of times it is worse or a failure so nothing new here, the only one i really liked the complete change compared to manga was Hayate no Gotoku that made the 1st season at least 2 parody from something every episode. ( also loved the himegami arc that doesn’t exist too)

not sure why they do that… maybe it was something like “kirino anime” on “ore no imouto?” most of animes do put some real stuff there.

This is probably going to sound like an angry rant, so I appologise in advance.

Am I the only one who LIKED this series from begining to end? I mean, it’s probably because I’ve never read the manga and probably never will but I found it to be rather funny. I mean yeah, bits of it were head shakers, the final battle with Chaos was veeery tacked on and personaly I think they could have waited untill the possible season 3 to bring her back but, over all, I liked it. And if you want further introsepctive into my opinions on adaptations, I was probably the only person on Earth who thought ZnT season 3 was good. Those are my opinions and I’m sticking to ‘em.

The only anime that I can think of where they changed a lot of the manga and I still enjoyed both was Rozen Maiden.

Haven’t watched SoraOto Forte yet, but feels like I’m just gonna be disappointed at the end =/

Its time for deleting this second season from HDD. Keep the manga scanlation.

Personally, I thought that original FMA was better than FMA:B, and I’m quite sure there are other examples as well…

Personally I still tried to enjoy what was enjoyable from the second series. Although there was quite a bit of things that was changed which also made me really upset, I still thought that there were others things that were still really enjoyable so I don’t think it really warrants the deletion of the entire second series of the HDD like Psycho said. What do you think about that?

Well I like FMA:B much better than FMA, and the Negima anime has left me traumatized and wary for any manga-to-anime adaptations, so I must say I’m glad I stayed away from this until knowing how it went. Thanks Kuro, your sacrifice will not be in vain.

Fuck AIC. How could you possibly ruin the source material into this abortion?

And I don’t hate all anime original stuff. I thought Negima!? was hilarious, despite the fact that it had absolutely nothing to do with the original manga source material.

Oh… and if they mess up the Hiyori arch I will kill kittens.
