Yuuno got jealous.

Let the ‘shipping wars begin! (BTW, I’m still undecided after this episode… even though I’m heavily leaning towards Yuuno)

Well, that was totally a Mio-senpai episode there. I’m still a bit surprised at how sudden they’re making her fall ridiculously in love with Tarou after using eight episodes to establish her total domineering attitude towards him and building up Yuuno as Tarou’s one true love/pairing. Then again, the show has to end somehow, so I guess they’re fast tracking this out of the lack of choice/originality. Ah well.

It’s not to say… totally bad and all, but I’d rather they use up the time to build up Mio as a character first. There’s nine episodes already and we have zero idea how Mio’s character and life outside the Second Volunteer Club is like, only certain hints that she seems to have nearly no contact with her family and Michiru-sensei is her appointed guardian. I would dearly love to see what makes her tick.

As for the Mio-sama Fan Club… well that was a whole crock of bullshit out of nowhere again wasn’t it? Thank god it didn’t last long. I mean, Tarou has more than enough on his plate already without another bunch of fanatics thrown in to the mix as well.

Shizuka and Tomoko’s cameos this episode were full of LULZ though, shamelessly contesting for the beauty pageant at the school. As well as the Ruri cameo outta nowhere by Mr. Manager.

Also, bonus shot: Greedy Mio-senpai!

MM!

Oh man, that face…

Looking forward to the Mio vs Yuuno competition next week!

Didn’t care too much about this episode, although Ruri Ruri’s “cameo” did make me shed a single manly tear, not due to nostalgia(I did recently just watch Nadesico), but because Xebec would much rather spend their money making this shit instead of a proper sequel

I’ve rooting for Yuuno the hole time! She has to overcome her fear of men. If it happens that moment will be the most Kawaiiiii of all time!

And I agree with you on the fact that they suddently changed Mio’s way of acting; I prefer when she just acts like she hates him and brutalize him ><!

keep on the good work, I've found out about your blog not long ago and I'm always going back here to check if there are updates after I've watch the said animes ^^.

    Gambalei!

I’d go with Mio. I think it’s becoming increasingly clear she is a sadist. She is perfect for Sado’s masochism. yes, yuuno is also perfect for Sado’s masochism but that only lasts as long as she is an androphobe. Plus she couldn’t get any physical affection from the relationship.

Also Mio is a hawt DFC why isn’t there more fanart of her? I usually just settle for fanart of Koromo from Saki…which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

@Shin: The original creator doesn’t want to do a sequel, apparently. So unless XEBEC changes his mind…

Mio-senpai kinda reminds me of Aisaka Taiga from ToraDora!
