My Little Sister Can’t Be This Stupidly Cute 07!

Ore no Imouto

Getting caught between a rock and a hard place much, Kyousuke?

Ore no Imouto

Goddamnit, Kirino. Why are you so stupidly cute this week?!!

Ore no Imouto

What is this I don’t even *loops the gif all day long*

Ore no Imouto

Kuroneko’s impression of Kirino is so spot on, complete with little fang.

Ore no Imouto

Likewise so is Kirino’s of Kuroneko. Get a room already, girls.

Ore no Imouto

Much more likely than you think, Kyousuke!!!

Ore no Imouto

Ore no Imouto

… Kyousuke, why u do dis?!

Ore no Imouto

Oh god, those.. those tears. STUPID CUTE KIRINO!

Ore no Imouto

Ore no Imouto

“You wanna try them out, sister?” SEE I TOLD YOU, Kyousuke.

Ore no Imouto

…. says the imouto eroge otaku girl.

A surprisingly enjoyable episode this week on OreImo. I suspect it’s mainly due to the fact that this is the first episode where Kyousuke doesn’t have to cover Kirino’s ass about her hobbies, so her bitchiness level was toned down which upped back her natural cuteness level. That and we got a real nice dose of Kuroneko back this week too. Possibly the best part of the show for me was the both of them bitching about each other’s fanfiction and doing their impressions of each other. Seriously spot on.

The date thing also went better than expected. I had kinda expected it to take the whole episode of her bitching Kyousuke around town for a full episode, but it only took about half which cut it quite short, so they focused on the HNNNGGGH parts more. And really, Kyousuke had it coming. At least learn to use Porn Privacy Mode if you’re gonna do that!

Still, I know I shouldn’t be liking the show…. but, but, this episode is really making me change my mind. I did quite like and enjoy it and I guess I’ll admit to that even to the expense of being labelled a pariah by my colleagues at #animeblogger. Stupid Cute Kirino.

ED this week was rather short but had a nice illustration to accompany it.

Ore no Imouto

As I said earlier, get a room already, girls!

the second part was: “My little sister can’t go to a mental clinic-i ka ?”
they should just stop showing Kirino and Kyousuke and replace them with Kuroneko and Ayase and the show would become good

I liked the A part already from the Drama CD, though Kuroneko’s impression of Kirino is far better with visual’s than without^^
Kirino’s impression of Kuroneko, on the other hand, seemed to be more plain than in the drama CD, at least in my opinion.

Especially liked the ED as I am a great fan of Kana-chan.

So 7 eps in and 3 and a half volumes of the novels contents covered o.O
And according to the OreImo radio, Kyousuke’s performance in ep11 is supposed to be HNNGGGG or something along those lines. Just wondering how far the anime will progress with the original story…

Notice how everyone says they don’t look like each other?

Kirino is adopted. Just look at her orange hair. That ain’t normal.

KyoXKirino ending confirmed. Non-blood related siblings.

XD Kirino is just so cute! ~ I kinda wished kyousuke would be a little more friendly with her.

I mean that whole getting gift part was so cute, he should of been more of gentleman X3 make her blush a little more! so cute!

“Kirino does the kirakiraboshi sign! D= ”

That was actually Ranka’s sign from MacF. The kiraboshi uses the middle finger instead of the pinky.

And I think both signs are done with the right hand, but whatever.

You guys seem to forget that in pictures of Kirino as a child, her hair color is closer to her parents, so it’s probably dyed.

I am probably the only person in the Saori camp.

    Not that I am complaining.

I’m just waiting for Saori to show up without the otaku getup and steal Kyousuke’s heart. But I know it’s not going to happen. :(

  14. arigatou Said,

Finally someone shares the same prediction as I am, yes Kyousuke is indeed adopted. His real parents died a long time ago in some incident which Daisuke involved to, thus blamed himself for life and promised the deceased parents to take care of him. Since he and his wife doesn’t have a child yet, they adopted Kyousuke. Three years later, Kirino is born into the world.

The main reason why Kirino started got infatuated with Little Sisters, cause she wants her brother attention, more likely doesn’t even know she was around. One day, Kirino (age 10) learned the truth about Kyousuke, with her parents having conversation. She started to have a crush for her brother, thus planning the Little Sisters plan.

  15. Gin Said,

Kuroneko’s explanation of what Kirino had written sounded way too familiar…in fact, if anyone wants a similar encounter, read a story on About 90% of it is exactly what she had written. And Kirino’s counter just made me laugh.

  16. Zyl Said,

  22. shaoron Said,

hold on… no one mentioned Kuroneko’s complaint of Meru-chan!?

-She’s basically saying “I’m going to release my full-power magic into you at point blank, do don’t move, BITCH!”
-This girl can bombard her opponent with attacks with a smile on her face. Disturbing.
    -Theme is FRIENDSHIP
-Meruru OBLITERATES her FRIEND-TURNED-DARK-WITCH aru using her METEO IMPACT. With a huge smile on her face.

seems a wii bit familiar, isn’t it?

  23. Di Gi Kazune Said,

    November 16, 2010 @ 8:58 pm

If you look carefully at Meruru… She can say:

    Takamachi Nanoha’su!
    Raising Heart~!

    I mean Starlight. >_>

    in exactly the same voice.

  24. DocAstaroth Said,

    November 16, 2010 @ 9:36 pm

To be fair, Nanoha never really smiled when blasting someone up.

However, I still think, Nanoha was scary, because she was far too professional, serious and rational for a normal nine-year old girl in my opinion. I guess, growing up in a family with assassination background will do this to you…

oh, i thought it was some reference.

but anyway, this episode was much better than the ones before episode 5. at least no more bitchy-ness from kirino. i wanted to drop this show cause of that. D:

i’m glad i didn’t. cause this episode was pretty awesome.

“Finally caught up on this show. It’s actually a lot better than I thought it would be.

I think that Ayase is cuter than Ami, but Ami had more airtime and a more interesting/endearing personality in comparison.

Comparing Taiga to Kirino is tough because of the little sister factor, but I will have to say that Toradora has done much better (so far) in character development for the female cast compared to OreImo.

The bulk of OreImo’s character development (at least for me) appears to be with Kyousuke and how he opens up and adapts to his whimsical sister’s fancies as well as that of her friends.

I definitely enjoy watching OreImo but after reading the novel summaries I think Toradora has a more solid story/plot and development.

    @the Nanoha comments

Yes, Nanoha is definitely known for showing her ‘love’ with nothing less than a full-powered close-range Divine Buster/Starlight Breaker.

Nothing says “I love you!” more than a charged up particle beam of destruction that can easily level cities and blow through supposedly indestructible precursor armageddon starships.

  35. ewok40k Said,

Definitely a winner comedy of the season.

And the friendship between Kusoneko (Haha) and Kirino is just golden. ^w^
