Ika Musume

Mini Ika Musume has probably got to be the cutest and saddest 7 minutes of anime that I’ve watched this year.

I wish there were more shows like this.

    Made all the more impressive from the fact , other than the little info blurb on Mini Ika Musume, was all done without a word truly spoken.
    Amazing directing indeed

    I will be damn, if this was not one of the cutest moment in the history!

    Only the adaption of Yotsuba&! could top this!

    I’m still thinking about it.
    See, this is why I can’t bring myself to watch Binchou-tan. The coroner’ report would read something like “Death by poignancy”.

    Gah. I’d have liked to become emotional from this, but it was too unexpected – while the emotional stuff was going on, I was still sitting there waiting for a punchline. :P

    That said, it was done pretty damn well, particularly from a comedy show with 7 minutes to spare.

    I felt exactly the same as ZoboCamel, only I knew, heart and soul and mind, that the punchline was coming. It just couldn’t be real/serious :P And the punchline did come. Still enjoyed it.

    T_T So cute, oh so cute. I totally nearly cried towards the end, and I never cry, about anything. I want a Mini Ika Musume now…

    I just watched the last episode a few minutes ago, and now I am sad and stuck with this squid girl-less void in my soul for all eternity, one that cannot be filled.
