Am I the only one who thinks this episode was a bit too preachy? Well I guess it was pretty much required exposition, but still…
Ah well, at least we still have Hitei-hime.
And to summarise the important stuff this episode:
- Togame’s past revealed
- Hitei-hime is possibly Shikizaki Kiki’s descendent.
- Kyotoryuu is Shikizaki’s final, perfected Deviant Blade… which means Shichika is one as well!
With that out of the way, only two more episodes! They better not be boring!

STAR DRIVER 03
Hey guys, remember a few seasons back, the trend was to couple exposition in story with bath scenes? STAR DRIVER’s changing that. Now it’s exposition coupled with scenes of EPIC REPEATING LEG CROSSING.
Kuragehime feels strangely familiar…

And this is Narusegawa, Kaolla, Kitsune, Shinobu and Motoko. Make your own guesses as which one fits in to whom.
So yeah. Take Love Hina, reverse the looks factors of the boy and the girls, throw in a bunch of movie references (lol the OP is win), and you have Kuragehime. It’s the perfect show for those whose dicks have been confused by Japan already.
Of course, for a more compelling reason to watch this show, I guess I’ll have to point out that our “Narusegawa” is being voiced by Kana-tan and there’s also Noto-sama as well in the show. But seriously, I think the best reason to watch this is to treat it as a weird mirror-universe version of Love Hina. Ahahaha.
