Hey guys, remember a few seasons back, the trend was to couple exposition in story with bath scenes? STAR DRIVER’s changing that. Now it’s exposition coupled with scenes of EPIC REPEATING LEG CROSSING.

No, seriously.

Looks like a requirement for being part of the Kiraboshi Juujidan is the ability to cross your legs repeatedly. Although I’m just betting their legs are getting cramped way too fast instead.

Also, Mrs. Watanabe is on track to be the most memorable female on the show.

Man, she’s totally redefining “trophy wife”. I’d like to tap that ass too, given a chance. Hurr

This would’ve been even more epic if the head did a legspread while have the last word.

Was it on the level of Basic Instinct? lol

You want to kiss her through the glass except without the glass.

Thats great Kuro and Imma let you finish but Ore no Imouto had one of the greatest third episodes of all time! OF ALL TIME!

In all seriousness, I should try StarDriver. I should learn to get past my prejudice of BONES shows.

    Awesome Legs Design

Dad always said, “tap the arse of no hot women who keeps a gator in their pool”. Though in this case I’d respect those who’d believe its worth getting made luncheon meat out of them.

On a more serious note, I hope they plan to stop this “battle of the week” setup soon.

In one picture, is that an ad for despicable me?
    It looks like one

Yeah, the ad this week was Despicable Me too.

@FX102A: Actually, I like the “battle of the week” setup. It gives the show a kind of nostalgic feel.

I agree with J. The weekly battles are sort of awesome, if only for the Monochrome Song and the Transformation sequence alone. I want my own Tauburn and Epic Background music sung by a fish girl, and I would fight the hot blooded enemy of the week for it NP, IMHO.

I second both J and Jobrill. The battle of the week is one of the things I really look forward too in each episode, and it seems to be an ongoing theme (like the battle in Utena) so we would definitely keep seeing it for a good while.

Speaking of Utena (which remains one of my most favorite animes ever), this third episode really brought out the similarities much more than the past two episodes. Watching Star Driver makes me really want to watch Utena over again.
