Oh god, Elcea is like 10x more moe in the anime compared to the manga.
I mean… in the manga, she comes off more as a bumbling sidekick with a heart of gold…
….but with Itou Kanae’s HNNNNNNNNGH moé voice, she gives off a totally different feel.
And scene cuts like this…
…. really don’t help at all too.
Well, Keima alone can’t really make the show appeal to the demographics right? I’m in two minds about this moé-ifed version of Elcea. On one hand, she’s definitely a lot more appealing now… but it also conflicts with my impression of her from the manga too. Oh well, guess I’ll get used to it after a while.
So far, the show has been following the manga pretty faithfully too, barring a few coordination changes here and there. Even the best part of the second chapter is nicely done…
I really pity Keima’s dad. He’s pretty much collateral damage from all this, isn’t he?
The second half of this episode is purely chapter 3 and the anime is making good pace here so far.
Aoi Yuuki is a nice fit as Aoyama Mio, but the real fun only starts next week. Looks like each manga chapter will be nicely fitted in to half an episode each.
Official ending rounds up the episode, assuming that because it’s group song with the girls slated to come out in the anime. The song itself isn’t much to shout about but there’s lots of feet shots for some weird reason…. and I like it :|.
