Seitokai no Yakuindomo is still about the sex jokes

… but surprisingly, they aren’t that vulgar anymore. Or maybe I just got used to them doing it.

In any case, it’s still a bit sad that the funniest joke in the show was this scene.

Seitokai no Yakuindomo

Really, the show’s weird without them making sex jokes every other scene.

And Hata’s biting comment to Suzu was really ouch…

Seitokai no Yakuindomo

Especially the Agnes Chan extra sub there. Good lol, Ayako.

Tsuda’s imouto shows real promise though…

Seitokai no Yakuindomo

… which isn’t surprising, since I just found out this episode that the manga-ka also did Imouto wa Shishunki. Which is even more vulgar. I should’ve known.

It’s a very perverted series, just far less fanservice than…let’s say…Chu-Bra.
Otherwise, it’s a good way to pass the time.

P.S. Did you play Umineko 6? I was surprised you never mentioned it.

This just proves that sometimes shows just don’t go well if they don’t stick with what they started with… unless we’re talking about Amagami SS.

What is an Agnes chan and why do people keep paying Satomi Arai to do the Kuroko voice?

Since you got good questions here is a free service.

    @Anise_punter
Agnes Fournier de Saint Maur started the war vs child porn wayback 1999.

Satomi Arai is well known for being master-like for beautiful boys and being tomboy to the girls.
She voice a certain character using a different screen name in a hentai series, V***** Auction as Shirohebi with her guy partner seiyuu Takehito Ayasu(using a different name) voicing the other Ronjai Shijima . Ironically, in the anime Hanasakeru Seishounen she voiced Najayra (resembles Shirohebi pretty much while her guy partner Takehito Ayasuvoice Quinza Hafez (resembles Ronjai pretty much as well)

Kuroko Shirai is a good fit for Satomi Arai’s specialty.

In general, I find this type of jokes been both vulgar and not-so-funny, but somehow SYD just works for me. It became a bit redundant in the recent episodes, and it’s not laughing level funny, but it’s still quite entertaining.
I was barely able to finish the first episode of B Gata H Key only to drop the show right away, but with this one I’m kinda looking towards the next episode. Well, may be it’s due to Tsuda basically expressing normal person’s reaction right on the screen, or the fact that the characters don’t seem to really understand the dirty stuff they’re spouting, which also makes for the nice contrast with their otherwise exemplar behavior.

wow, no idea this was from the same creator as imouto wa shishunki but it all makes so much sense now. great comic btw, same sort of sex jokes but with a brocon angle thrown in. they actually work very well in 4koma format.

    Forget deadpan Satomi Arai…

The hotest thing in this show is Yuu Kobayashi’s slinky voice! Audio Erotica to the MAX!

I have to agree with DocAstaroth. Other than the antics of the main cast, which I very much enjoy, Kobayashi’s having a field day with her character in SYD and I’m loving every second of it. The scene where she’s trying to give Tsuda an erotic dream just made me lol.
