Asoiku 04 in a nutshell

Asobi ni Ikuyo!

That’s a real mouthful of a name.

Eris and gang head to Nakano Broadway for “cultural research” (read: buying otaku goods by the boatload) where they’re ambushed and Eris is kidnapped by a stateless 12 year old Greek-American ojou-sama shipping line heiress, who is also the leader of nekomimi fetishist cult known as Cat Ear Church and has an army of maids trained in black-operations and onmyoji (barriers and shikigami).

No. I am not kidding. And the dog-girl Hocchan wasn’t even involved in it yet.

Did I mention that this is the BEST show of the season?

I’m not sure I’d call this “Best”. Now was this supposed to be comedic, or dramatic?

Agreed, this show had me at “First mating season.”

Well, it is one of the best shows this season, but I wouldn’t say “The best” yet…
Btw, Saimoe Main Tournament is about to start^^

@Haesslich: Sometimes, you just need to take things at face value to enjoy them.

@Beruchi: Meh, don’t care about Saimoe anymore.

@AznCoffee: Kilos of course, Japan uses metric, like the rest of the world except Pax Americana.

Ok, this stateless 12 year old Greek-American ojou-sama shipping line heiress needs some meds because she totally lost it with the whole cat ruling thing!
Also Aoi is still awesome. I love her :D

I was afraid it was getting stale with the last part of the third episode, but it’s back in the grove with this one. I have high hopes.

First a race of alien catgirls, then an overarmed immigration Bureau, then the loony Beautiful Contact (which, presumably, has disbanded due to having failed it’s purpose), and now this? A catgirl loving “The Kitty Brigade” backed by onmyou magicians? What’s next? A mage warrior prince teacher from Mars? This show is just crazy :D. And this is merely the fourth episode! The three protagonists are just awesome (especially Aoi, as usual), though I find Eris to be a bit miscast. I like catgirl Hocchan (from Bakemonogatari) better…

“Best Show”? Hmm, maybe you just have weigh in against some potential candidates such as Seitokai Yakuindomo, Mitsudomoe, and Ookami-san.

But who cares, every show is a winner…

This episode truly took the cake. Going to Nakano. For those that haven’t been… its the best place on earth.

I know it’s a late post, but I just realized that the stores and backgrounds of the Nakano scenes display an insane amount of actual characters and figures (Kasumi from DOA, Tohsaka Rin, Kyo from Clannad, Goku from Dragon Ball, )…they might’ve been actual pics of stores, just retraced to appear blurry
