Finished with Mayoi Neko Overrun!

Mayoi Neko Overrun

LOL, final arc is bloomer vs spats battle for the sports festival attire.

And, yeah, I didn’t drop it after ping pong, I just lost energy to blog it.

Mayoi Neko Overrun

Satou and Suzuki are awesome as usual. I am going to miss them the most.

Mayoi Neko Overrun

Why didn’t they use Kaho instead of introducing a random new character… =.=;;;

Mayoi Neko Overrun

… LOL Nozomi. LOL. Seriously, bloomer over spats haha.

Mayoi Neko Overrun

Oh god, Kanae = Minorin (Toradora) confirmed.

Mayoi Neko Overrun
This was amazingly random.

Mayoi Neko Overrun
Kanae = Minorin (Toradora) confirmed again.

And that wraps up Mayoi Neko Overrun!

I have to admit, my interest in the show kinda tapered off after ping pong episode and the random standalone episodes (like the mecha one) didn’t really help to increase it.

Episode 10, 11 and 12 were better though, mostly thanks to the focus on Nozomi’s character development after all the crazy antics from the first nine episodes. I especially liked episode 10’s laidback feel and the oneshot loli character. Gotta LOL at Otome-neesan’s antics though, she can even call in the United Nations?!

11 and 12 was ridiculous but it was counterbalanced with good gags and Nozomi development again, so I’m happy the show ended on a high note for me.

Liked: Depending on the episode director.
Rewatch: Not all of it in one shot.

The new character arrival was supposed to be a gag, because not even Takumi and co heard about her.But she sure served a good purpose see below.

I also noticed Kanae was Minorin but only this episode, it didn’t crossed my mind that she had the same seiyuu back at the puzzleblocks episode. We surely thought about it because of her yuriness with the new girl this time, which was great.

Everyone have different opinions about the half of the series, I liked the random episodes, but everyone who watched the end agree it was nice, and that Nozomi, Satou and Suzuki are damn too awesome.

Ping Pong and JENGA were my favourite episodes :D Mecha wasn’t too bad, but insightfully amusing. Satou and Suzuki are the best – have you read chapter 5 or 6 that covers this bloomers vs spats fight? lol but then I facepalmed too much in this episode. Goddamn that theme song

I prefer the manga version of this, which has the maids strip and then Satou puts her hand up Suzuki’s t-shirt while showing off the bloomers… :D Oh, and no Kaho but Fumino wearing the bike shorts instead.

Did ya know there is a 13th episode? It’s a recap but it’s Chise, Fumino, and Nozomi commenting on the series episode by episode. It’s pretty funny and good for a recap episode. I thought it was a good way to end the series.

I guess they showed Tamao instead of Kaho because they wanted to show some of the other characters in the series. If they do, they should have also shown that Kagami-lookalike girl. Anyway, darn, no more Kaho. I tend to like those gentle but intelligent and manipulative type.

Oh yes, the recap episode was actually quite amusing. I loved how Fumino was like yelling to cover up her confession scene.

according to the light novels a TRAP would enter the scene supposed they would air a second season…
