Seitokai no Yakuindomo 01

Seitokai no Yakuindomo

It’s Seitokai no Ichizon + High School Girls. I didn’t like High School Girls much but I loved Seitokai to bits so I’ll give this show a chance. I’ll be honest though, I’m not a fan of girls talking dirty stuff like pads and tampons so casually. If they use those jokes a bit too much I might just drop this show.

Aside from that, this show has the most quirky ED of the season so far, with Angela doing some fast-paced pop number with rapping thrown in for no good reason apart from showing that atsuko can and will rap. I think we’ve established that over the past 2 singles she’s released. I would like to see her perform it live though, just to see if she can do it on stage.

Also, most pathetic male lead of the season so far. He gets pwned by a ~140cm 16-year old high school genius twintailed returner with IQ 180’s throwing shoe attack. Seriously.

Seitokai no Yakuindomo

Ouch. Pretty much the antithesis of Key-kun. Key-kun would’ve had a fucking field day in this school.

Well, it doesn´t look to bad…

    @ alyxva

Key-kun is the main character of Seitokai no Ichizon: A man who really works hard for every his dream… His own harem!

It isn’t fair to compare this guy to Key-kun…Key-kun was the best harem lead ever, no matter how his girls try to deny it. Plus, have you already forgotten Ookami’s male character? The guy is afraid of being looked at (though he does do his best, I’ll give him that).

There was a lot of extra animations throughout the episode. Like how Hagimura narrowed her eyes at Tsuda when he reacted at the school’s restrictions and rules, or just random extras walking around.

And I wouldn’t say Tsuda got pwned by a shoe. He didn’t flip over or anything. But he did get face punched by a sleeping loli.

What really needs to happen is for someone to animate Meddaka Box. That I would watch.

Not bad, will keep watching since Hikasa does a good job voicing Shino.

what, you’re put off by them talking about tampons? you’ll never earn your red wings at that rate

Wow, its just like Mitsudomoe, only taken to a uh, different extent. And I happen to find the male lead to be quite fitting for uh, his harem…?

Yeah, that’s right. The male protagonist became useless as the series progresses. It’s like from kyon to a normal cliche harem protagonist.

I didn’t realize that I was reading a series from SHONEN JUMP

So, I was expecting this anyway…

Shiraishi Minoru and Satomi Arai… Amusing and unexpected. Just like, “GAN! GAN! GAN! KNOCKOUT!” I say, for the post-anime depression, there are at least more of certain quality series to watch. Interestingly enough, I’ll watch almost anything so don’t count on me for a bad review or even a good one.
