Otoo-san returns to Wagneria, bringing along an unexpected “souvenir”.
The “souvenir” turns out to be suspected runaway girl, “Yamada Aoi”, a real troublemaker even by Wagneria’s staff standards.
Even the usually calm Satou gets pissed off at her… then again stocking the fridge full of nattou does make anyone angry too.
Not content with just that, she even tries to get Yachiyo and Otoo-san married so she can have her perfect soap opera family. Lucky Kyoko was there to save Otoo-san’s ass.
Even Souma loses to her, and that’s really saying something there.
Of course the worst thing about her is how brutally honest she is…
Uh-oh. Thankfully, Satou-san has a perfectly good explanation for her!
Yes… he definitely broke there ^^ (Poor, Satou-san).
Ah really, thank god she’s -that- clueless- huh, Satou-san? So I guess you’ll be able to enjoy her “love talks” a little while longer eh.
But seriously, Yamada sure is a shit-stirrer. Within one episode, she’s pretty much pissed off half the staff, threatened Souma for the first time in his life, nearly made Yachiyo a criminal and almost destroyed the restaurant as well. Even Kyoko hasn’t managed to do that much trouble in her run as the shop manager. Takanashi is sure going to have a hard time dealing with her.
Ryou Hirohashi is in good form as Yamada, combining her trademark deadpan voice with a variety of inflections to suit the situations she’s in. No sign of that husky, sexy voice she uses as Lily though, but her character here isn’t meant for that anyways.
Can’t wait for next week, as it seems to be an episode going out of the usual setting of Wagneria and focused on Inami’s boudere-ness. Come to think of it, Inami-san pretty much escaped much of the destruction wrought upon Wagneria by Yamada this week….
