Angel Beats! begins

Angel Beats!

Kanaminator!

Deadpan Kana-chan is deadpan.

First episode of Angel Beats is pretty interesting, with a good amount of initial exposition, interleaved with action and slapstick humor that just keeps one glued to the screen. I’m quite glad it lived up to my expectations.

Farewell Random Curiousity song

Someone sent this in to me and asked to put it on my blog. Since this is kinda fairly…. well, “interesting”, why not!

Anyways, I guess I should say my farewells to Omni, even though I stopped reading RC for ages now.

So long, and thanks for all the screencaps!

B-gata H-kei is legendary

B-gata H-kei

Epic words of wisdom

Yukarin as a virgin slut…. check.
Hocchan as the hapless friend… check.
Noto-sama as the hero’s awesome sister…. check.
Fucking epic LULZ ensuing when I find out it’s Yukarin voicing the heroine…. check.

Fuck, Spring 2010 just started and this is already more LULZ in one episode than the last season combined. Not to mention the epic cast list which includes Yamato Nadeshiko reunited (give yourself a huge cookie if you get what i mean), Noto Mamiko and even Kana Hanazawa (not yet appearing though), it’s like the seiyuu-fapping show of the season. Holy shit.

Admittedly, the whole plot about girl wanting 100 fuck buddies is totally nasty, but with Yukarin doing it, it’s pretty much broken the awesome-meter in me. Like, went over 9000 and reset itself back to zero herp derp. I mean, this… THIS IS NANOHA, BERN, RANPHA, ICHIGO AND RIKA’S voice actress here. Making a bloody fool out of her character. It’s so hard to…. to… imagine oh god. I sure hope the “befriending” of Kosuda goes fine. Even if Yamada is deathly afraid of erections. Seriously, she doesn’t know about that after all the h-books she’s been reading? What a princess….

Anyways, I heard a lot of people can’t stand this show… what’s the matter, YUKARIN TOO AWESOME FOR YOU GUYS, HUH?

Heroman 01

More like Tropeman, for god’s sake. Heroman is the culmination of the past 50 years or so of Japanese and American superhero pop-culture tropes mashed together, so yeah…

With scenes like this…
