Kaichou wa Maid-sama 04

Kaichou wa Maid-sama

So how many of you guys had to unfap to this?

I quite liked this episode. They expanded Aoi’s character a little bit and added some great scenes with him and Misaki going off together. I liked on how they emphasized how similar both Aoi and Misaki are at in terms of dealing with peer pressure about each other’s genders, and how Misaki tells Aoi to just be one’s self if that makes you the most comfortable. It’s pretty much how I go about my life as well. No use denying what you like only to please the opinions of others.

In the end, this turned out to be my favourite episode of Maid-sama so far. At this rate, the anime adaptation of Maid-sama is going to turn out to be one of the rare ones that are actually superior than the original source. I have to admit, the original manga didn’t really seem to have much direction at times and just felt like things were being crammed in it just because it looks interesting. The anime seems to be improving it to be a lot better however, so I hope it continues to be this way.

Good thing my intuition is right, so he’s not even closer to Hideyoshi… Thus, gays are only exist in 3D not in 2D.

    Lower jawline gave it away.

His jaw looks like Misa’s, so that wouldn’t be it. But the hyperfeminine bit is usually a clue; everyone from Aoi to Jun to Mizuho had it, with the exception of Shidou Mariya.

Unfamiliar with the source material, and I like this episode’s gender prodding, but the chemistry between Aoi and Misaki felt a bit jagged; not an issue with the storyline. I found the composition/fluidity a bit lacking between the two, and I felt is more of an issue with the direction or adaptation writing… I didn’t get the sense of “tight operation” … but still very enjoyable.

Not really, they got the chemistry right. Aoi really hates Misaki because he’s jealous of her.

In the manga you didn’t really get scenes like that in this episode….

Traps are everywhere. Anyway the show is pretty good and I feel its does a better job with the set up of scenes than the manga did.
