Mayoi Neko Overrun! 04 is fucking awesome

Mayoi Neko Overrun!

This week’s director is Akitaro Daichi, the director of Gag Manga Biyori for those unfamiliar with his name. Does that explain much already?

Also, I am going to quote Midonin from AnimeSuki about this episode, because I don’t think I’ll be able to put it as eloquently as he did:

Now, in the time I’ve spent watching anime (three years, give or take), I’ve seen plenty of ping pong games. Games that have battle auras. Games that have balls going down into cleavage. (That one’s a favorite.) But for as long as I live, I may never see a ping pong game to top this one. It was 2001: A Ping Pong Freaking Space Odyssey. It’s also the first scene you could literally set your watch to.

And this doesn’t even come close to describing the sheer madness of the whole episode. No joke. There’s amazing shit like Kaho (OH GOD YUKARIN) and the gay scenes. Also the most least clothed episode of the show so far. Not to mention the music accompaniment is amazingly awesome this week.

I am going to wait for a better source before I do another post on this. Because it deserves that much.

Woah, what the hell did I just watched. Please go back to the director of episode 3. On the other hand, man that was crazy and awesome in a sense. However, let’s get back to normal instead of this. This is exactly the same way I felt when I watched Biyori an it’s really mixed.

@Silve More like ‘Please go back to the director of episode 1’…

…I was not amused, or entertained, or really anything remotely positive to say about this episode outside of Nozomi and her electric fan towards the beginning. I am not at all interested in Chise-service and would appreciate if it were discontinued. Honestly, I thought everyone could have used more clothes. This is closer to what I expected when the series started. I really think it would be best served going back to the style of episode 1.

This was absolutely hilarious, why is that son of a bitch of a director not getting more work? That man is a comedic genius. I very rarely laugh so hard at anime, even the ones focused on comedy.

Well that was strange…the only high point for me in the whole episode Nozomi and her flying pose while facing the electric fan going Nyaa~. Other than that it was mostly me wondering what the hell was going on?
