They pretty much made this episode for Yin x Hei shippers. Awesome.

    This is the real Season Two of Darker Than Black, no that overextended piece of gaiden fluff that wore out its welcome that was Ryusei no Gemini.

    Personally, I loved Ryuusei no Gemini. Perhaps even more than season one. But I love this, too. It certainly is a bit closer to the spirit of season one, but with a touch of the season two feel, as well.

    Darn, that preview suggesting the Amber’s comeback was just a trick. Still, this episode indeed felt like the continuation of the original series, unlike the sequel which made me wonder if I’m watching the wrong show…

    It wasn’t the BEST EPISODE EVER (several episodes of the original series surpass it easily) but yeah, it was damn good and I want more.

    Could we have, like, a third season with this kind of storytelling now, BONES?

    Above all it´s great to see them together.

    But what I haven´t understood at this point is the timeline. Before or After the DTB: Gemini season?

    That will either make or brake this show for me.

    If it´s before the second season we all know how it will end. If it´s after the second season then all cred to the company behind it :)

    @js: No, Gaiden is before Gemini. As Caraniel said, it takes place during the time skip.
