Umineko anime ends

Hurr… that wasn’t too bad for a final episode, discounting the stupid CG DRAGON Kinzo turned in to. They pretty much captured most of the important points of the Tea Party, including the small bombs (LOL). Obviously though, they failed to capture the epicness of the Red and Blue word spamming properly. I mean, Beato barely fought back and just pretty much wanted to let him kill her from the start! Also, they totally forgot about the fourth game. Like, LOL WUT?

As for Ange’s death… could’ve pull that off better. I am a bit sad they didn’t put in the burger joke at the Ura Tea Party lol.

Overall, I’d say Umineko anime was pretty much another adaptation failure, but at least it got more people interested in the series! I can bravely say I am one of them.

Ahhh, I can’t wait for Episode V!

Just a side point – I remember Kinzo-dragon from the VN, and frankly that was something I was hoping DEEN would include. So honestly, I’m happy with that part.

So now that I finished the VN (which I was playing simultaneous with the anime) I honestly cannot understand all the complaining about the anime adaptation…the VN was too long to fit in 26 episodes and a lot of the scenes I’ve seen them cut and people complains have been for the most part not really that important (there are exceptions).

The only thing I do agree on is that they screwed up on getting the music right…as an adaptation this anime tried and did decent…i’d give it 8/10

I think you probably know this by now, but Witch-Hunt has released their patch for End of the Golden Witch.

Have fun with End of the Golden Witch!

The complaints are valid. It’s not a problem of leaving out material – it’s that they chose all the crappiest parts of it to incorporate into the show, while leaving other more important stuff out. It is a very bare-bones retelling of the same story with none of the heart.

Not to mention they successfully bastardized a very likable protagonist into the most useless crybaby of all time.
