Hayate no Gotoku! 252

Hayate no Gotoku!

Nagi’s Crowning Moment of Awesome chapter. I can’t believe she’s actually getting another one after all this time since Volume 1!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

This is practically a proposal already.

I hope she’s not doing it solely because she thinks that Hayate’s actually in love with her. Else there’s gonna be a lot of hurt and emo to come….

But really, Nagi really touched my heart doing that.

This was easily the best outcome. Nagi’s development here gives me a whole new respect for her. Now all Hayate has to worry about is A-tan.

Nagi gets MAJOR + point for this, Hayate can worry about Athena now and hell money issue is no big deal considering all the options available

Actually, this might have been the best for the short term, but long term wise, I think this will weight heavily on Hayate, especially if Mikado ACTUALLY does keep his word and take back everything from Nagi.

Then Hayate will feel very obliged to Nagi, and thus complicates things even more if he wants to choose between her and A-tan.

Best case scenario would probably be A-tan recovering and maybe take in the both of them if Mikado keeps his word.

But on the love polygon part… man that’s gonna be pretty damn tangled up.

Well, the canonic ending just doubled its score and massively retook the lead…

    *sighs quietly*

I don’t want a Nagi ending. But how could I not like her for this? Because I do believe that this was actually much less of an impulsive act than it seemed at first.

Like a certain Romulan senator said, “IT’S A FAAAAAAAAAAAKE!”
But truly an awesome moment for Nagi, didn’t see it coming, she made his choice for him.

When a sissy guy can’t decide, a girl has to push him, that sort of thing?

Who thinks a future chapter will have her saying ‘If I’d known this would happen, I wouldn’t have been so hasty to break the stone?’

Words create miscommunication? Major irony points there.

But whether this will lead to a canon end? Not so sure about that, die to the major guilt factor/obligation factor this creates. He won’t necessarily love someone romantically just because he has to protect them, after all.

I have always looked down at Nagi’s feeling toward Hayate, but this chapter clearly puts Nagi on the same level as Hina & Nishizawa. Although I hope that Hayate can stay truthful to his own feeling (to A-tan), I am also hoping that he can somehow return the feelings to all three ladies…

…But things can never go so prefect, eh?

In exchange for all my fortune Hayate protect me forever – Nagi

Hayate can’t reject Nagi’s offer so he would accept it.

Then deal with A-tan problem afterwards apologize to A-tan and tell he loves her. Nagi overhear the conversation and disappeared absorbed by a portal out of nowhere.

Hayate ask A-tan, Hinagiku, and Isumi Saginomiya for help and opened the portal.

They fought their way to Nagi later on possessed by twin evil that lurked around A-tan. They can’t defeat it and saved by A-tan and Isumi. and A-tan and Isumi both in deep coma.

Hinagiku and Hayate went and search for the legendary stones that would defeat the twin evil. Maria begged Hayate to do all they can. Himegami stopped them and went for a clash with Hayate. Hayate beat Himegami and finally obtained the stone.

Obtained the stone they went for the final battle if they defeat the twin evil not only
Nagi’s fortune would be restored but the other two girls in coma would be awaken.
Hayate sacrificed himself to win the final battle.

Ends with Hayate thought he is all alone in the dark saved by Nagi’s mother and guided to the path of light and he wakes up with all the girls standing crying. He
runs and went for Nagi realized he loves her. He tells Nagi have to wait for 2 more years before they can marry. (In Japan 16years is a legal age of marriage)

    – The end with others beating up Hayate…. THE END

I wonder it would happen though……..

@arigatou: The scary thing is that because of the screwball-ness of this series, what you just typed might actually happen! I won’t count on it happening though.

Also, the 20,000th comment on my blog is in this post!

Although Nagi’s trillions of dollars of inheritance will be gone, that doesn’t mean she will be unable to keep living happily. Unlike her current spoiled self, she will have to find a job and learn to work and put in effort in exchange for money. She will become a normal, middle class girl.

I personally believe that the ending will result in Nagi finally breaking free of her spoiled nature and learning to become independent. After losing the mansion, Nagi now lives in an ordinary, comfortable suburban home. Hayate and Maria are no longer butler and maid to Nagi, and live either separately or in the same house. They all make themselves money by working. No longer having the money to stay at Hakuou Gakuin, Nagi and Hayate will both go to the public high school Hayate previously attended, where they will continue to live close to each other; no longer as butler and master, but as friends.

Honestly, I actually want Nagi to lose her inheritance. If she justs keep living her spoiled life surrounded by trillions of dollars worth of money, somehow I don’t think there would be any lesson in that…

Yui: but then all of the cast would vanish, and that would be bad. Besides, Nagi already said early on that she could live off her stock investments as she has a lot on her own. She would merely be ‘normal’ rich instead of ‘super rich’ like Sakuya’s family. Plus, Hakuou isn’t super expensive… not if Hina and Wataru (who are not ultra-rich) are able to attend.

Of course, losing all that money might compel a certain tiger to try to kill Hayate as he’s far more spoiled than Nagi, and less inclined to be philosophical about it…
