Twitter is addictive

Yeah it is. Now I get why it’s such a phenomenon. I’ve been actually on Twitter for the past 2 weeks or so and I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with it.

With that, I’m adding a small twitter feed on my sidebar which will show the latest 5 tweets from my Twitter account as well as a link to the full thing if you want to follow my (spoilerish and spammy) ramblings.

Shall I suggest two things to improve the tweeting (and the followers’ number), though they might be a bit expansive:

With the wordpress plugin of this service, you can put the tweets related to your posts between the comments.

The sidebar widget shows who viewed your pages, and really boosts the follower’s count.

In this page, there’s the twittercounter widget and the twitoaster (with our conversation on moe) between the comments:

Heh, since Facebook apparently doesn’t support my phone service, I just use Twitter to update my Facebook status from my phone. But I do follow a couple friends, Anime Today (for TRSI store updates), VIZ Media, and FUNimation. But it really is just mainly for my Facebook status.

Twitter is both fun and hard. Having a max of 100 characters is a pain. But this meta blogging of what you are doing is the next big thing so…

I can understand why it is so popular. And since I have it myself I can´t complain to much about it :p

@woxxy: Lol thanks for the suggestions, I’ll keep them in mind if I ever need to use them. Glad I could help you out on Oct. 10, lol.

@manga: it’s actually not that hard. Twitter is really for the ‘in-the-moment’ things. In fact, the reason why I didn’t get in to earlier was because I was afraid I might be too addicted to it.

@kurogane: Ah, that explains a lot. And maybe easy for you. I have a tendancy to write to much so for me it´s hard. But great practice for me :)
