Didn’t they say it was gonna be another 4-cour show?

I was under that impression, but really solid anyhow. Dunno, taking Shana II into consideration, this series’ continuance seems much more accomplished. I sure hope they keep the same crew ^^

But really…. handmade Packy, if this was any other girl and Hayate wasn’t Hayate, we’d be seeing an out-of-the-park home run already.

So true! And gawd, just the idea of Maria and Nagi watching this Hayate’s misfortune in action is just so LOL. It was done, it was great.

That “He was making packy” is now my Hayate no Gotoku folder icon, replacing Hina’s reaction to the ferris wheel that I put there just last week.

Hopefully they get some funny in the manga. It’s sorely lacking.

Indeed. I loved how they ended with A-tan looking up at the moon, which hints at the future inclusion of the World’s End story arc… and the current one, for that matter.

As a minor note, in fact it was always planned for 2 cours as part of its move to late night TV (instead of Saturday mornings where it was last time around). In a late night timeslot like that, it’s exceedingly rare for a show to go longer than that (because they need the merchandise sales to pay the bills).

In any case, a future season certainly seems quite likely, even though it’ll probably be another 2-cour season at most.
