A pity Norwegian Wood was sold-that was one of my favorites. Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World *is* my favorite of his, and if you haven't read it, definitely find a copy somewhere.

haha i went through a murakami binge during the summer.... i have to say i didnt go out much. the books were just that good. i see you got a good number of his works, but do read "south of the border, west of the sun" because it is beautiful and short. hmm "after the quake" is a collection of short stories with a central main character so definitely give that one a try also. i got "after dark," but it will have to wait a little longer; im reading "the plague" right now.
oii i almost forgot is biographical work "what i talk about when i talk about running!" read that one too ^_^

@GARbej

Dance Dance Dance is my favourite too. But Norwegian Wood hits me the hardest, due to personal experience.

I'm still making my way through The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, it's the last of those that I have.

Good to see someone else going on a Murakami binge. I did the same thing a couple weeks back. Don't forget about A Wild Sheep Chase! A must read before reading Dance Dance Dance (my personal favorite).

I have just finished Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Murakami myself, and have to say, that he is a wonderfully engaging writer. Definitely worth reading.
