Sal : literally 'Most Moe'. It's a tournament where you vote for the 'Most Moe' anime character. That about sums it up:)

I'll be taking those cookies, Phocus.

Always remember the key to winning SaiMoe isn't having a lot of popularity, it's NOT drawing a lot of haet. Mio has a lot of both, and we see which won. Don't expect any of the recent KyoAni girls to be going very far this year...

Takane got kicked out by Perinne (Strike Witches) just a few hours ago x.X

It's such a pity you can't/won't be blogging saimoe this year, since I liked your posts quite a lot the last years. But if you have private things to do it can't be helped.

Good luck for your studies.

@Saimoe: With K-On, Saki, Index and Strike Witches there are four newcomer series that have high potentials for getting far in saimoe (SoraKakeGirl doesn't seem to be strong, with Honoka already out and Takane following as well orz). And I wouldn't bet on Mio since Saki chars are indeed not to be underestimated (22 chars in the main bracket with about 12 of them with greater fanbase)

I can imagine the top 8 to be from: 3x Saki, 2x K-On, 1x Index, 1x Clannad and some other (Hinagiku, Lucky Star, another Clannad girl...)

>Especially after last year’s Kagamin’s win, which was actually the first year I’d thought SaiMoe had a decent winner.

Funny.
