We’re not watching Haruhi anymore. This is actually the third 07th Expansion universe, in which a new witch, Suzy, who has the power to torture a single person endlessly, is playing with this guy, the poor Kyon-kun, to alleviate the boredom of being alive for over 1000 years. To escape, Kyon-kun must figure out what Suzy wants that she hasn’t experienced in over a thousand years of summer vacation.

Poor Kyon-kun.

In the meantime, キョンくん、電話。

    lol nice idea….

….except Ryukishi07 knows better how to make this stuff interesting… and there is not enough pain, suffering and murder going on in their holiday for a connection :P

But the circada-hunt made me wonder too ^^

And like I commented in your last post: there is this poem in the Higurashi game that fit Haruhi suprisingly well:

Well that linking didn’t work at all or I messed up with copy&paste ^^
    Another try:

I went and read the novel at baka-tsuki, the reason why Haruhi keeps turning back time is very mundane and has been staring Kyon in the face all along.

I am very disappointed in the direction this has taken. Endless eight is a reference to the month of August, how someone can come up with the idea to use it to make the same episode 8 times is beyond me.
I bought the first season on DVD, but there is no way I’m paying money for this.

Yes it all makes sense now… Otaku no Naku Koro ni, when the Otaku cry.
We need to get Frederica Bernkastel and Beatrice to kick her ass.

Yuki is the new Rika/Bernkastel. When Mikuru Cries.

I’m hoping for some sort of violent/gory scenario where Imouto goes crazy L5 loli on everyone.

    “When Mikuru Cries”
I think we have a winner here. ^^

And about yandere imouto… there surely is fanart about it… no expection :P

15k+ loops, should have figured it out several times over, Kyon. …I remember thinking when I read the corresponding novel chapter. At least it was only a _single_ chapter.

I thought of the same thing, actually.

Too bad there isn’t ACTUALLY a witch behind this. It would be too awesome.

Are you sure there isn’t a witch behind this? How could you prove it? We have a “god” after all. Plus an alien, a time traveler, and a esper. Who’s to say there is no witch?
But then that brings back memories of the “Killer Loli SOS Brigade” or the 2nd. SOS-dan (“Those Killer Lolis”).

I was hoping that KyoAni would redeem themselves by randomly making one of the episodes in the middle genderbent with no explanation. I could have gone for that.

Given this crap KyoAni came up with, I’m now afraid of what they’ll do with a new Full Metal Panic season, that is, if those dickwads even care about it.

  17. ithekro Said,

Unless Full Metal Panic has a time loop story, I doubt that there will be any problem. This one story lends itself to this treatment. No more, no less.

  18. sadakups Said,

It’s not really the time loop. It’s like doing something as crazy/stupid/raeg-inducing gimmick, in which, as far as I know, does not exist in any of the FMP novels that I’ve read so far.

Yeah, I’m concerned with Disappearance too.

There’s never been a time loop in the FMP novels. Well, alternate timeline yes, but no timeloops.
