then wouldn’t it be really weird if the real asuna falls in love with negi like the way the fake asuna did? because they’re related in some way or another, right. by the way what would that make asuna be to negi? a sister or aunt? right???

Just a guess. but i believe that nekane is actually Negi’s mother the queen of Ostia. Somehow Nagi helped break her out of magic world and performed some memory magic to make her believe she was from the old world. Then, when fate’s organization found out, they summoned the demons to attack. Nagi came back to save her and his sun. This would also explain why Negi says that Asuna reminds him of Nekane. Since Asuna and his mother are related.

Huh… I think Negi already has suspicions that that wasn’t Asuna. After all, he called her out on not nullifying that attack. Her clothes don’t have that nullification ability, which is why they’ve always been the victim of such attacks, but she herself shouldn’t have been struck. An illusion is just that, after all… an illusion. It cannot duplicate the innate abilities of the person whom is being imitated.

I mean, he did state that even IF she’d not nullified it, she should have been able to block it. I think Negi, being the smart guy he is, figured it out when she got hit — that’s not Asuna. Five bucks says he calls her on it later.
