Just started and caught up on this manga after seeing your posts, great find I must say.

I found it to be amusing and the artwork is quite nice.

Anyone else get the strong Haruhi Suzumiya influence on the series, in particular the heroine?

Medaka is like a Haruhi who actually throws a bone to her Kyon every now and again.

Still trying to figure out what exactly is up with Shiranui though.

There probaly wont be more council members until Zenkichi goes up a rank because he started in as a vice president in the one shot so I think the author of the manga wanna show new characters when he ranks.
