On another note:
Just found the first CDs of the 2nd Character Song series and I noticed that the order of the characters has been changed from the 1st series:
The first 4 CDs of the 1st series were: 1. Hayate, 2. Maria, 3. Nagi, 4. Hinagiku
And now the first two CDs are: 1. Nagi, 2. Hinagiku

And I think the new order fits better than the old one, don’t you agree^^

Nah, EVA was Gainax, Hayate S2 is J.C.Staff. They simply licenced it (they had to it anyway, for the Cruel Angel’s Thesis songs released on CD earlier)

Hina Kambell actually came into my mind but yeah, if the cross-over dressing wasn’t enough that Eva theme song just rocked my morning. Impact was even greater as I never knew the song’s actual name so once it started, lets just say I’m glad I wasn’t eating breakfast anymore as I would have spent the rest of the song wiping stuff off the TV. I was also expecting Hayate to somehow produce an AT-field at some point.

I was also wondering how they pulled it off, are the 2 shows produced by the same studio?

@Mentar: Hehe yeah, i know what to expect, but I like more dere part of that scene … maybe because it is one of very few moments where Hayate doesn’t behave like idiot ;)
