Thanks Kraker2K I've been going nuts trying to get a proper listing of the new episodes. So Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody and Endless Eight are divided into 2 parts. My entire family are hooked on Harui and I'm their only source of information now I can let them know what is the real deal with the episode splicing. I think I like it, it somewhat an innovation in anime concept and it's really fun hunting down episodes, (but of course I would never approve if this is applied to all anime shows). Funny how Harui Suzumiya is always a part of the credits displays as the Ultra Director, now I know. At first the Episode mix of Season 1, then the splicing of Season 2. Makes me feel like we are all Kyon's having to deal with Harui's fantasies. . .I guess we all should be in the credits too for keeping up with her don't ya think?

I think what most people are confusing is that there wasn't a huge drop in animation quality, there was a very noticeable change in style. A lot of people were expecting at least an approximate or similar style as the first season, which had less "chibi" and lucky-star style character proportions.

But really, it's the coloring that sticks out the most in my mind. S1 made frequent use of overlays and screens, (something Clannad did to an extreme in a lot of cases) but so far, on this one episode I see a lot of flat coloring ala Lucky-Star. Take a look at the scene where Kyon and Mikaru are leaving Nagato's apartment, it will pop right out at you. Something just looks off.

Despite this, it's still Haruhi, and it's still Kyon's sarcastic monologues. Which means that it's great, but the littlest change in style tends to be glaring when the rest of it is so spot on.

@ Kaioshin Sama

Wow, so you find one slight continuity error in one scene and that means the animation quality has dropped? There wasn't a single continuity error in season 1? You have to be kidding me! Who in the world unconsciously nitpicks at that level? Are you then even watching the anime, or only watching for the animation? I didn't see any appreciable drop in animation, and yet people are exclaiming that KyoAni is going down the dumps. lol

Ahem...

FINALLY OH MY GOD I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE FOREVER FOR THEM TO CONTINUE THE SERIES I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE OTHER EPISODES AND BOOK 10 AND EVERYTHING ELSE!

*cough*

Okay, there, I got it out. :D

It's looking good so far. I'm not gonna nitpick unless it turns really bad, which I doubt it will. Now that Haruhi episodes are coming out again, all these world economy troubles and unknown animal diseases don't seem to matter as much anymore. ^o^

I watched the TV Series and I watched this just because of all the buzz.

I can't see what's so good in it. It simply bored me to tears. Can anyone tell me what they found so good that I have missed or are Haruhi fans just pedos?
