They could at least change the lines a little or add in a few totally irrelevant anime only episodes. And the second season has absolutely no link to the first (which I guess the lack of link is precisely because it is Hayate no Gotoku) which had too much characters like the superintendent. So many times have we seen original materials that just fails to impress us. While I have seen all this in the manga it still feels delightful and fresh to me being animated.
