Ristorante Paradiso is…

… pretty entertaining!

Actually I downloaded this over a month ago but I really didn’t get down to watching it till now, so that explains the really late “first impression” post here.

I had no idea that Orikasa Fumiko was in this show, but she’s really the reason why I am watching this. I just love her when she uses her “otome” voice, iykwim. Kinda lol’ed at her jumping on Claudio in the 2nd episode though. Her mom is quite likable too.

And surprisingly, I can really accept the FABULOUS-ness of the show much better, partially because it isn’t done in the over-the-top-with-sparklies-and-rainbows kinda way and it IS very gentlemanly (i.e. subtle).

Guess I’ll catch up with the show. Gonna grab 3 and 4 now.

Yay yay, I approve. Although I’m not exactly a Ristorante Paradiso fan myself (and as a girl, I’m not that into the characters), I thoroughly enjoy it and I think it deserves more recognition considering that it’s the studio’s first work.

I think you also are the first guy who talked about that OMG rape scene without getting furious about it. *thumbsup*

@Sasa: Why should guys be furious about it? It was kinda hilarious seeing reverse-rape in action, LOLOLOLOLOL.
