7 looks like a good OS, but I wonder if it can beat the popularity and stability of Windows XP Pro.

Excellent, time to clear out my old 80GB (so that I don’t need to partition) and set up a dual boot with my already downloaded RC copy. Thanks to this post, I’ve finally made the leap from “curious” to “fearless/drooling”. Thanks!

Luv the 7 RC~!, complete driver 4 my PC, faster than vista i think (especially @ file transfer), clean windows, great tasbar… and also, some foobar2000′s problem issue @ vista didn’t happen at 7 RC, but still some components aren’t working… Hope they update it soon~ ^_^a

I´ll wait for a external drive to arrive so I can make some backup, then I´ll try out Win7 as well.

But this gives me new hope that it will work out the way I want it to.

@suguru: CCCP 2008-09-21 worked and installed just fine on my system with MPC-HC. Never did use Zoom-Player anyways. There’s an extra step to get subs working in MPC-HC for CCCP on Win 7.

@Zyl: I run a multi-boot system. Installed Win 7 on the second partition on my computer. I actually have 3 OS’es running, Vista, XP (for backup/legacy) and Win 7. Gotta love the new Vista bootloader :P.

@Eirias: Me too. Loved the new Explorer funtions.

@Cho_Hakkai: As a principle, I do not comment publically on political issues. Especially on a blog dedicated to anime. Plus I don’t want to get ISA’ed.

@Hypernova: I know about it. I just want MS to keep the old functionality for Win 7 too. Or at least add an option to do it.
