it was strongly hinted in the novel that horo went on her knees to pacify/plea/beg the young wolf for their apparent trespassing of its territory.

to horo, given her immense pride at having to pacify a much younger wolf than her instead or resorting to put that “younger” in place for its disrespect is akin to a grave insult.

I have an unknowing caused attraction to anime girls with cat ears and tail, but not hands. I chose the manga for the reason of that, and the new twist of marketing.
I like how Horo wants to maintain her pride and to be thought of as tough and wise, but likes Lawrence in a way she doesn’t know yet and seems childish while mature, being comppletely random while still totally predictable, well, almost completely for a psychic, but you can guess her general direction, while she still keeps it random.
So much for never being drunk and a weak alchohol compared, but you’d think Horo wouldn’t be that clumsy trying to keep pride. Lawrence is a softy, but he’s not good trying to get the girl side of Horo, lots of clumsiness from being a guy trying to get what a guy wants, trying to be Horo’s friend, and not knowing what to do when with her (like his missing of a hand hold twice).
I love Horo in the 13th episode, she goes through so many faces and when she and Lawrence fight, Nora gives luck to the “happy couple”, I know that pairing will be odd in the end due to lifespan, if I didn’t think about stuff like that I’d love it more, I is a happily ever after prefer-er.
I wish I knew what Horo did so she didn’t have to fight the wolf, I never think about that because knowing is far better than guessing if your guesses are as wierd as mine, wish I also knew what Nora had whispered to Horo a bit ago.
I can’t wait for season 2, I want to find out what the next big plot grouping will be on their story. I hope they get a few seasons out of this, not too likely but the more the merrier, and I just love what was done with the whole, wheat “goddess” wanting to go home and choosing a 15-or-so year old’s body, while keeping those cute ears and magnificent tail. I need to go look for prices on the soundtrack and does anyone know where the manga went? I know it’s in plain sight but for me it’s dropped off the globe.

My impression was that “sheep” meant “Lawrence” and “herding” meant taking care of him in the iykwim sort of way. I’m a bit iffy on if this is actually right but, if you think about it, Horo already knows how to herd sheep since she hunts them and Lawrence could be described as being very sheepish, especially around those two women.

And, yes, this summer is going to be win.

I loved this preview of what’s to come in the new season. I’m still adjusting to the new art design, particularly Horo’s since she looks much younger in comparasion to the first season design. However, try as I might, I have barely a vague inkling as to what was going on between Nora and Horo at the end of this ep, so would anyone be so kind as to explain to me what they were talking about? Thanks!
