From what I saw on 2ch, Lagann-hen definitely topped the TV ending. 16 TTGLs combining into a Super TTGL is the fucking epitome of mind-exploding awesomeness and epicness.

When people said the animation footage was recycled, I never thought they were talking literally until I actually saw the movie.

It looked like they just cut and pasted scenes right out of the series and used a few minutes for “original” material.

Sorely disappointed. The last fight was all of 2 minutes long.

The only “new” addition that was decent was the Yoko v. Adiane fight. The rest of the movie was pretty much a carbon copy of the series squeezed into less than 2 hours.

But the Yoko melee was definitely my favourite part!
