Chihara Minori at DaiCon!

Chihara Minori

The DaiCon event I reported earlier has announced their special guest after some speculation amongst locals and it turns out to be Miss Chihara Minori!

Famed for her role as Nagato Yuki in Suzumiya Haruhi and Minami Chiaki in Minami-ke as well as a really good singer, she will be holding a Q&A Panel and a Mini-Concert at DaiCon!

It’s the first time a personality of this level has come to Malaysia, and I believe it’s also her first ever South East Asia visit as well. It’s a pretty big step forward for local fans here, and after AFA 08 set the ball rolling, I hope to see more events of this caliber being held. Will I be able to get my wish of meeting Noto-sama here granted one day? Who knows….

Anyways, for more information, visit DaiCon’s homepage at

    Waw that’s no small name! And I’ll actually likely be in KL around that time. Now to find out how I could get there…

    Oh wow, that’s amazing. I would love to see her. At Anime North this year, we have Nobuyuki Hiyama performing. Do you know what songs he has done?

    That’s why I hate being south american T.T It’s hard enough to have events around here. Even harder to a name like this even appear in the local news. =\

    ”It’s the first time a personality of this level has come to Malaysia”, do you mean the first time a seiyuu has come to Malaysia? if you meant by that your wrong. Kurosaki Ichigo’s seiyuu came to Malaysia last year for GACC.

    @WantedDog: “personality of this level”
    “of this level”
    “this level

    Emphasis on the “this level”. I am well aware of the Tohru Furuya and Masakazu Morita’s visits to Malaysia. I covered them both. Hell, I have pictures of me and each of them together.
