Oh god that last line sure was a killer.

I am really liking the new Hayate anime now. It’s so much more true to the manga and there’s less random interjections and unfunny jokes compared to the last season. Let’s hope this keeps up.

Also, Hocchan imitating Alexander Anderson…

    Amen.

    Hope you keep blogging Hayate…

Anyway, there seems to be a rumor that this show will only last 13 episodes (possibly only until the end of the intoduction of Yukariko). Can anyone confirm this and give me a link?

Hehe .. Amen.. I think the series will go on for a tad bit longer, otherwise the plot we have woulnd’t cover so few chapters.

The rumor came up since ANN (god forbid!) listed only 13 eps SO FAR. Like they have listed 13 eps for FMA too.

I think it’s reasonable to expect at least 26 episodes, probably 52. They have more than enough manga material for that.

Angry Hina is a win for everyone! (well except maybe Hayate)

Didn’t they say the second season is gonna be 52 episodes as well. I swear I read something like that off ANN once. Go check the news posts.

I’ve decided, that since I left the first season around episode 13-14, I’m going to watch both seasons simultaneously. D:

    Ah… I can’t find that article KuroPanda.

Anyway… The “I’m not angry” scene reminded me of the one episode in the first season when Maria said that when Hayate said something about her age.

It’s funny because we’re always listening to Anderson in this show. xD

    Catrophy: This part was already animated in Season 1. There, Hayate was suffering amnesia. So, it wasn’t really skipped, it was already delivered ^_^;

Hinagiku: “Ah, so you’re a lolicon?”
    Hayate: *suffers heart attack*
    Simply epic.

Sister Sonia: “Amen” *a la Alexander Anderson*
Amen to that, Yui Horie, Amen to that.

Was the Dragon Quest part in the manga? I didn’t read that far, but I’m kind of worried that the second series will be just as ridiculous as the first. :P

Also, love the Anderson reference. AAAAMEN!!!

Hayate: “Actually, it would be more proper to say that I am also a lolicon.”

Lol. Hopefully Hayate does not have lolita complex. Lets wait for the epic Dragon Quest to start!

    Epic Andersson reference :)
    Lovable Hinagiku.
    Poor Hayate.

Looks like this will be a nice season. Can´t wait for the Quest to begin.

Deedlit reference was a bit obvious… and if that would be the case then I think Nagi would have been better with Hayate being Parn.

The disappointing thing was the lack of a response from the narrator to the AMEN. I mean, it may not have been in the manga or anything, but… it’s fuckin’ NORIO WAKAMOTO!
