Maria+Holic 10

Damn. Koda ragequitted. Lucky she released 10 as a final parting gift. But god damn, there’s only 2 more episodes left, so I wish she’d finish it off before she ragequitted. It’s not like I can’t watch it raw, in fact I am watching Maria+Holic in raw every single week, but it’s good to have the subs at hand to understand some of the quickfire jokes that SHAFT likes to do in their shows.

Maria+Holic

Serious bespectacled president-type Kanako is fine too.

Maria+Holic

But thankfully, her core isn’t changed. I can almost imagine her as female version of Kimura-sensei in the future, if she becomes a teacher (and I think she’ll probably be).

Maria+Holic

Totally taken aback Mariya and Matsurika is LOL too.

Maria+Holic

Matsurika slightly frowning in disapproval is cute too. This episode unexpectedly has a lot of her.

Maria+Holic

And not forgetting Matsurika’s cute giggle too! Who can forget that!!!

I don’t give one iota about fansub group dramatics. You telling me that only one person can give us what we want? =/

The offbeat pace of humor in Maria+holic is so watchable, I need to catch up.

    Fansub drama is dramatic.

More studios need to do what Gonzo did and just give us the damn show subbed on YouTube.

Maria + Holic started off awesome to me, but I feel like the funny-factor (a term I just made up that means “the amount of funny a show contains”) has dropped a bit. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I still think that it’s a good show, and I thought that this episode picked it up a little bit, it’s just that I feel like the comedy has leveled off a bit (maybe the shock value of lesbians and trannies that made the first episode hilarious is wearing off). Also, someone else will pick it up if one person stops subbing it……hopefully……please.

PS: The OP and ED are fucking awesome for this show…two of my favorites….EVER.

Yup. This episode was worth it… even with the fansub drama.

Hopefully another group will pick up the slack, hate to see this get dropped the way Mouryou no Hako (the only remotely intelligent show i’ve seen thus far this season) was.

I’m eagerly awaiting the reappearance of Shizu, so screw it all, I’m watching this to the bitter end (yes, even if I have to go watch RAWS, which I absolutely don’t want to).
