Ami is getting REALLY pissed off with the status quot, So annoyed that she can’t be “Ami-chan” anymore.
Either Ryuuji gets over Minori and decides to get with Taiga or Minori decides to be honest with herself and everyone and confess to Ryuuji
She also sad because she realises that she likes Ryuuji but his first impression of her isn’t a good one, and it’s not like she thinks he’ll trust her again.

Taiga wants to get her best friends together, and in a way she’s a very good girl because she’s after a level playing field. Taking advantage of Ryuuji’s kindness is just not fair, and she knows it. If she does that how can she face Minori or Ami again.

Minori’s not used to being interested in somebody and is handleing it very badly, in a non emotionally healthy way, but she’s doing better.

This episode disappointed in a subtle way when it got serious. BUT I loved the Minori scenes. It was nice to see her be herself again, and it was “refreshing” to experience her… irrational exuberance? *shoots self in the face*

On the Ami front, I’m starting to understand her course of action a little. I left episode 21 hoping that she’d force the issue directly, but I don’t think that makes sense anymore. Ami’s pretty aware that Ryuuji WON’T choose her, but she wants him to pick someone so that she can move on. Confessing directly to Ryuuji would just be more painful, so she’s trying (and it looks like succeeding) to get Minori to force a decision out of Ryuuji. Bitch.

I’m with PassinGass. Ryuuji needs to man up and CHOOSE Taiga. If he continues to run from the decision, Minorin will confess before he tells Taiga how he feels and he will get to break Minori’s heart AND make Taiga feel awful. Yikes!

So, yeah… Man up, Ryuuji. Man the f*ck up.

I think that Minorin meant shes gona have a go at Ryuji. If thats happen I feel sorry for her. Its going to be hard to watch when he tells her he chose Taiga. Ami seems the best option for him, but damn shes not doing much for him to acknowledge her!!

Taking a close look at Minorin’s house, i think financially speaking, her family’s as hard-up as the Takasu’s. Getting into college with her savings working part-time is her only hope for a better tomorrow, and getting into a relationship with Ryuuji would wreck that (remember Mitsuki from KGnE?). She literally has no time to invest in it.

Ami is in no better situation, although she and Ryuuji can have a good high school romance, their social standing is too far apart, the vicious intrigues, the paparazzi, showbiz, will tear them apart eventually. And she knows that, thus her half-hearted efforts.

Now Taiga is juuuust right for Ryuuji, they have a LOT in common, both are presently outgrowing their shortcomings yet still want to be together.

The ball is now in Ryuuji’s court, come on dude! Be a MAN!!!

“Being with Taiga is the best”

Awe…

The plot’s been pulling at my heartstrings for a while now.

Ryuuji and Taiga are both so pitiable, with Ryuuji not knowing what he wants to do for his future and Taiga wanting to stand on her own. I think that Ryuuji is so fixed in a ‘support’ role, that it’s hard to become an ‘active’ – he’s supported his mom and Taiga for so long, it’s become what he is… but now, all of the sudden, everyone tells him to advance, whether in his studies or love-life.

With Taiga, she’s been struggling to contain her feelings for Ryuuji, and at the same time strives to stand on her own. She realizes that she can’t rely on him forever and they’d both eventually move on. That’s incredibly mature of her…

I wish there was another player to this love triangle… I don’t mind rectangles. Kitamura’s out of the running so there should be someone else that could stand by Taiga’s side, instead of Ryuuji. (and I wonder if Minorin’s sudden declaration meant she was going to chase after Ryuuji, despite saying before that it was pointless to want something she can’t see)

Perhaps that would extend the plot? Ryuuji could feel that Taiga was better off with this X person and go after Minori… eventually, they’ll both break off and go back together… lskjfsd;lkifjselkdjf GAH I’m babbling. D: Perhaps it’d be too complex, considering that this series is pretty simple in nature.

Poor Ami, now she can’t even seek comfort in her favourite spot anymore… Seriously, Ryuuji needs to know that he has to let go of Minorin already. It’s a lost cause, after all.

well, most clear it couldn’t be, he prefers Taiga over any other. just see how he always could leave alone his crush but never Taiga, like that moment on christmas, or the school festival even the school trip. He can’t leave her, and he just have notice of this and how it hurts to be apart of her when he saw her sitting on his living room and talking with the stupid bird. so, now he’s angry because Taiga wants to bury that feelings without letting him choose, and he is just noticing he doesn’t want her to give up.
