Negima! 242

Negima!

Whoaaaaaa~ Negi. He actually absorbed the Thousand Bolts spell for Magia Erebea. Whoaaaaaaaa~

Negima!

OMG!
OMFG!!!
He just FALCON PUNCHED Rakan. Ouch…..

Negima!

Whoa, that’s sum serious speed there. 150km PER SECOND.

Negima!

And the finisher, zero-range Fulguris Tempestus blast. That’s really crazy.

But the most LOL part….

Negima!

RANDOM AKO HIJACK!!!

Also, Akamatsu taking his customary one week break, so no chapters next week ;_;.

I do hope they get back on the main plot as soon as possible though, I’m actually a bit bored of the tournament subplot already.5.

So was I the only one who was disappointed with the fact that Rankan didn’t really freaking do anything aside from get hit like a punching bag? Seriously… with all the boasting about being invincible, and being out of Negi’s league, this battle was a bit too one-sided to be considered an actual match as opposed to a one-sided beating.

This is only the third chapter of the fight. Trust me, Rakan will get up next chapter and Negi will fight it really close with him before winning in the end. REMEMBER TAKAMICHI?

    kurogane,
i think u forgetting kojirou, he also learn one or two new technique and rakan seem step down and let negi won maybe due to freeing ako the rest or testing his strength

Puts a whole new meaning to ‘blitzkrieg’. Rakan would’ve lasted longer, I assume, if Negi let up on his attacks at all. That, and I think he just let Negi win after that huge pummeling he took.

That said, I wonder how well this new ability will work against Fate.

A lot of people seem to think that the fight is over.

It’s not. The count went up to 3. That’s it. Nobody said anything about the fight being over.

Yeah, standard tournament story progression will have Rakan get up and show some OMGHAX moves of his own.

If nothing else, though, I think Rakan will at least acknowledge that Negi has improved a lot, possibly enough to have a chance of defeating Fate/Tertium.

Also: next up, Negi hits 300 km/s, encounters the problems inherent in relativistic speeds.

I have to agree with a few of you that Rakan might not be out yet. I reread the chapter and it said counting up to 20 so we can’t be sure yet because they cut off at 3. people in the manga “saying he won?!” seemed to have said that before 3 so yea.

Damn rakan was a total punching bag WHAT GIVES!? anyway what the hell negi, decided to be a mc of some RPG now? whats with those clothes?! and then some ako love well that was kinda expected when i saw her on the stand. Well the tournament for all its worth sucked as he finished it all without rakan doing anything

Jump should get Ken Akamatsu’s work to them. So decent anime episodes of this series similar to the success of the Negima Alba’s OVA.

man… Negi is going from being a noob to a friking BADASS dude.
I soo want to see Rankan’s come back, i mean he’s not going to take all
    that and just surrender…

I know for a fact that Rankan will get back up; the reason for this is that
1)The fight was way to easy
2)They still have not explain why Negi did all that mental training he did in Eva’s scroll
