The scene that is shown in the picture and Taiga then running out for Ryuuji is the best scene in the anime. I have watched the whole show and that whole scene is amazing.

True, at the moment, the portrayal of Taiga actually ‘in love’ with Ryuuji, is not well done, it just seems as if they’re more of the point forwarding the aspect that Taiga “needs” him rather than love.

But the plot of this is very cliched, two people that get together to help each other achieve their lovers, yet they end up falling in love? It’s so cliched it’s almost ironic. So if it didn’t turn out to be a ToraDora ending, it would be very strange, since looking at the title, the couple has been decided from the start, but at the moment, but if it ended now with the toradora pairing…it would still be strange because they haven’t got across the point that they do actually love each other and have feelings for each other, there’s a lot deeper to go, so I agree with you on that.

It may be called “Toradora!” but really, it doesn’t have to end with “Toradora”.

If not done well, a RyujixTaiga ending is gonna be awkward and out of place, since right now its a one-sided love. Hopefully, the author can pull a twist and make that pairing feasible.

Anyway, imho: the relationships atm are… complex – Taiga is drawn to Ryuuji, because she’s gotten used to the fact that he’s around and was ‘playing’ the role of the Daddy. Minori is going emo instead of talking with anyone – I understand that she’s torn between her feelings for Ryuuji and her friendship/bond/we with Taiga, but still, her behaviour right now pisses me off. Ami is playing the bro for the moment, but I wonder how long will she be able to keep it up… I hope she will now jump in, now that Minori rejected Ryuuji :P

As for Ryuuji, I always see him treating Taiga as a daughter – he cares for her a great deal, but a romantic relationship between them doesn’t seem ‘right’ to me :/

I still don’t see a romantic attachment from Ryuuji to Taiga. The other way around I can see, now that Taiga overcame her feelings for Kitamura. But Ryuuji in love with Taiga is difficult to believe for me. He seems to act out of pity because Taiga is lonely rather than because of love. I think that Ami’s metaphor of playing house is spot on.
I hope that the author will make me change my mind with the last few chapters otherwise I would not feel satisfied with the main couple.

At the least Minorin’s rejected Ryuji, so we’ll have to see what direction the show will move in to next week.

Read the novels. She only rejected him because she knew that Taiga loved him. And it won’t be too long before Taiga finds out about that.

From now on you should call the show “Dramadora” or “Emodora”. Fun time is over.
