    Second this…

Lol, and next episode the hero will replaced by the White-Haired-Pretty-Boy of the Show! XDD

I have to agree with that.
I’m also glad about every moment when Mikoto shows up instead of Index (I just can’t stand Index and her “Let’s bite Touma’s head” behaviour.)

Index is like the worst character of the show. ALL the other females are far better, be it Misaka, Kuroko, the samurai girl etc.

Your statement is why I read the Railgun manga, and not the Index one pretty much. :P

The novels switch perspective alot after this last arc they animated. Theres tons of characters later.

If the new OP is any indication, we have good things coming up!

But I hear a rumor we’re going to have an anime original ending… I want a season 2…

Ever since the first episode i have like her character… I have to admit, the Esper powers these anime has is awesome. I loved the railgun idea. The whole changing vectors was just amazing, i was so giddy. I loved the sciences and math subjects so I was just amazed at the detail they are giving this… The whole plasma scene was awesome, though he would have to give it a charge to make it plasma, just condensing and heating it wont work ;b.. The only thing else i wanted was to see that thing go off, dang such a waste…

This past episode was done well, i am glad there back. I love the whole Faction thing, nothing better then not knowing you started a faction ;b

There probably will be an anime original arc to end the season, after the Last Order arc – since there is no good way to just end the season. (Sort of how Shana S1 ended) If they just do Volume 5 as the next arc before the anime original one to end the season, they still have ~12 novels and 2 side story novels left as material.

That’s a ton, another 2 seasons atleast if they kept the pace.

    Who’s Index?

I lol’d at how Touma’s growing harem has become important to the plot.

    All hail Biri Biri!

Futhermore, it is my opinion that this anime needs MOAR yuri (i.e. Kuroko).

Miss Railgun was awesome in this episode. I’d pick her over Index any day.

An anime original ending eh… hopefully they’ll make it good and with the chance for continuation. There is plenty of material for another season or more.

The show is crap, but I… I… I… have been convinced. Mikoto > Index, any day, any time.

They should animate the railgun manga *nod*

    @RP

I’ll concede that the anime is pretty shoddy, but only because of a combination of the mediocre choices of directer and screenwriter and the messy nature of the first few novels in the series. A second season has potential to be much better, especially if they give it a different director. And that’s not just wishful thinking since the DVD and Blu-ray sales have so far been good enough on just the first volume for a second season.

    @ Tokkan

I’d probably give the second season a shot even though I’m so disappointed by this season. But a new director & screenwriter is a must. Never mind the fact that the plot hasn’t progressed in like 12 episodes, but I hate how EVERY episode grinds to a halt with lame and way too long dialogue. The pacing is just terrible. Are the source novels like this too, or are they botching the anime translation?

Anyone wants to knock Touma’s head straight for saying going for a (mock) date with Biribiri a misfortune? :P

Personally, I enjoyed the episode because it gave a different side to things.

-Misaki can be quite moe and tsundere.
-Touma and his occult group are the villains?
-Indirect kiss with a hotdog…I’ll never look at it same way.
-Accelerator becomes a daddy/ big brother in the next episode?

  21. Ipsod Said,

I’d say that there would be a good amount of those who have a propensity to enjoy studying physics would probably dislike/hate Accelerator’s ability, as I do. There’s just a little too much freedom of interpretation of the word vector here. So the ability to “alter” it is very irksome to me. This is also most likely due to how I was taught to interpret what vectors are, even if another were to read the exact same definition as me.

That was me being polite about how much I hate Accelerator’s ability. It’s a shoddy attempt, and “changing vectors” is stupid. Horribly stupid.

    Anyways, Misaka is toradorable.

Maybe there shouldn’t have been To Aru Majutsu no Index. Because I always had the tendency to love minor characters more than the main ones.

Why is this show so crap with such great characters, music and animation? You’d have thought that they could have hired a decent writer too.
