Haesslich: Wow, you’ve been unnecessarily critical of Nagisa lately. Shouldn’t it be ‘bash the Studio’ before ‘bash the OTP Character’? ;)

Kurogane: I play the wargame and am very much immersed in the background of 40k (for all its inconsistencies, ha!). That ALONE should tell you how inured I’m supposed to be to what other people might consider horrific or saddening experiences. However, I still felt my heart ache terribly after watching, and I couldn’t really focus on my (post-grad assignments) for the whole night afterwards. Maybe I still have a sentimental side to me…

I’m happy we got this as early as we did – since a) Nagisa dies, which fulfills the fantasies of people who don’t like her, and b) if they ended at Episode 24 with this, then it’d be a COMPLETE Bad End, rather than just a horrifying one which may end with Tomoya following in the footsteps of his father.

Wow… Even though I’ve seen the movie and know that Nagisa is going to die, when the baby was delivered safely and placed into Tomoya’s hands, doubts begant o form in my mind.

Really, maybe Key decided to change to ending for the anime.. Maybe everything will be fine and there will be a happy ending. Yes, that’s definitely it!!… Was what I was thinking.

But…..

Who knows, maybe Tomoya will end up with someone else.
