Hey, thanks for posting this. After reading this I tracked down the game and gave it a whirl, just finished the third ending now and gotta say I was impressed. It’s one of those stories that is grotesque, but subtle enough to lingle in your mind long after it’s over.

Thanks to kurogane for telling me about this and thanks to Moogy and Makoto for making it available.

Anything else from Nitro+ available in english yet?

Well holyshit that sure was fucked up. I thought Chaos;Head was a bit wierd but this is a whole ‘nother level. Heh, it seems like Nitro+ is good at writing about messed up people. However Takumi tried to go GAR while Fuminori went understandably insane. There doesn’t seem to be any hope for some kind of “happy ending” here. I’ve only gone through the “everyone dies” ending, but I’m sure the other two won’t be much diffrent…

@manga: I don’t know of any plans to translate Narukana, either by users on TLWiki or elsewhere. Some guy made summaries of every chapter on LJ by using Atlas but you probably don’t wanna read those.

@Raton-Laveur: Hurr hurr. Saya is over 5 years old and it’s doubtful that Nitro+ would make any money off of somebody buying it from Himeya in the first place. But please feel free to randomly troll people about buying shit some more!

Second, is there any slight possible chance of you guys translating Narukana? It´s possibly the one game I want to see translated.

Thanks for the appreciation. I must say that you’d be better off lavishing your praise on Makoto, though – I just organized the project. He’s the guy who was actually crazy enough to translate this thing.

I’m glad you enjoyed the game. Posts like this are the reason we translated it.

I read it in japanese a while back, haven’t got a chance to try it in english though.

I think a contributing factor is the weird disturbed feeling I got after finishing it. I just mulled about for a few days, went through in what felt like being disconnected from the world haha.

Saya is cute, but a woman(maybe?)’s jealousy is fearsome. Demonstrated against that bigger breasted lady friend, forget her name.

I think I finished Princess Waltz, as long as there isn´t a harem route somewhere.

I´ve seen images from Saya no Uta, heard a friend of mine talk about it and he loved it. Makes you want to play the game.

So when I have time(as of now I´m more focused on console games like Ar Tonelico 2, have to prepare for it and school) I´ll give it a try. But from what my head tells me I don´t need to give it a try. Game from Nitro+ translated? Must be good :p
