Kitamura finally reaches his rebellious phase. But the way he does it is just… how should I put it? Really cute?
I mean.. dyeing your hair blond? Oh man that’s just so old, it’s hillarious.
But that said, this is a serious episode as the cast deals with the gone-wild Kitamura, each of them worried about him in their own ways. Ami~n mouth goes tsun-tsun about it, criticizing the idiocy of Kitamura, a point that Takasu can’t seem to accept.
Interestingly, it’s Minorin who defends Ami~n, as she seems to understand that Ami~n’s probably the one who knows about Kitamura’s situation the most as well as the one who comprehends the most too, as she’s an “adult”. Lately Minorin’s been letting her “guard” down a lot around Takasu, and this episode provides another rare “Minorin moment” with her and Takasu.
Gone-wild Takasu actually runs away from home (again, oh how cute!) and barges in to the Takasu household, whereby Taiga tries her best to cheer him up, being marginally successful at it. Seeing Kitamura crying himself to sleep was rather sad, really.
A rather heart-warming Ryuuji x Taiga moment in the episode happens right after that too… Taiga’s already realizing that while she might be close to Kitamura physically, he’s already not within his grasp anymore.
Of course, I can’t talk about this episode without mentioning “dark” Yasuko too. Seeing her *actually* getting mad about her precious sleep getting disturbed by Taiga’s fangirl screams gave me a nice shock.
Then there’s also “concerned parent” Yasuko too… poor Kitamura.
