Kurogane no Linebarrels 14

Kurogane no Linebarrels

I’m surprised. Gonzo is truly going nuts with the plot now. Backstabbing, betrayal and deaths abound. I can’t believe that idiot President really died. Even showed us the body accompanied by an insert song too. Surprisingly Kouichi hasn’t powered up yet, he’s still getting his ass whooped by the hero-class characters.

Also: Surprise! Surprise! Someone got resurrected. Wonder what shit’s gonna hit the fan next.

Good news for Maaya fans though, the second ED theme is also sung by her, titled “Remedy”. It’s also another slow, but more reflective song rather than the pensive mood of Ame ga Furu.

LOL at the NICE BOAT cameo in the episode too.

It’s a total mystery for me that how many people is gonna buy this series’s DVD? Or are there anyone who thinks like “wouv such a great series/adaptation!”? Maybe they think it’s a DJ adaptation? (I’m trying to be very optimistic here) There must be or how is this show still continues? I don’t wanna remember my enthusiasm when I’ve first heard Linebarrel is gonna be anime T_T

Yeah the story went nuts, but at least there is something to be excited about now.

The first DVD sold quite well – over 6000 copies – especially in light of how unpopular Gonzo usually is among otaku. Strike Witches was a phenomenal success too (basically a fan service show selling as well as a premium, top-tier series), so the people handling marketing/content planning must be doing something right.
