Definitely, zombie-killing is best done with shotguns. It’s all about walking slowly up to them and blasting them in to a million tiny pieces.

So satisfying I’ve been playing it non-stop for the past 3-4 days. My exams this semester is doomed again… sigh.

I hear that. Especially when you get yourself a good team on advanced/expert. Then the real game begins.

My favorite weapon goes to the M16. Favorite map goes to Dead Air.

Also good news to all L4D players, http://kotaku.com/5125547/major-left-4-dead-update-coming-very-soon-to-pc-console

Since most of the combat is close quarters, an auto shotgun is a man’s best friend. Only thing you can’t do is snipe those nasties at a distance when you need to.

i think if you use auto shotgun…good for tank while the auto rifle for zombies. thats for me. it is still very intense when tank comes and i would run like hell to dodge his punches.

I count both the pump action and the automatic as shotguns. Of course I’ll take the auto over the pump at any time, but both of them are as good as it gets :D.

Can’t seem to play properly with Uzi or M16, runs out of ammo fast as hell. Too bad you can’t switch to single-fire mode with them like in Crysis.

What I hope now is that Valve releases more “movies”. I’ve played all four over and over again and it’s kinda starting to be repetitive.

it gets intense, I tell you. I walked into the toilet and had to check behind me in case i got swarmed by the horde.

    double-pistol for the win!

Are you able to sneak up on them? I thought that was what the zombies did to those that played the game? At least the ones with tongues…

The “normal” zombies should run right towards you if they find out you´re there right?

As for multiplayer, this is what should be done with this game.

And no, haven´t played it myself, but I tend to pick up what others are saying and when I see gameplay I get a pretty good feeling for the game. And if it weren´t for the “horror” theme I would be delighted to play this since it seems to damn fun.

    @manga

Other than the special infected none of the zombies will attack you unless you in some way alert them, which can happen from your flashlight or from making noises like shooting them.
There is in fact an achievement for sneaking up behind an infected and hitting it in the back for a OHKO

One of the things that I REALLY love about the game though is that they won’t run in straight lines at you. The infected will swerve and change direction on you, which really adds to the fun of shooting their legs off.

You really should give the game a go, there really isn’t any horror to the game, and if your lucky you’ll even hear your characters play a fart joke while riding the elevator. The only thing that I guess could be counted as scary is your first encounter with a witch, but even those become fun challenges with your teammates to see who can one shot her in the face. And VS mode, when you can actually play AS the special infected is a blast.

Lolz~!! Where you play it Kurogane? I usually play at Sg.Dua, Netcity ^^

Well, my favorite is definitely SNIPER~!! Guhhuhuhu though most of the time I use Automatic Shotgun simply because bullets can spam using handguns. To take down Tanker, sniper definitely useful… even against Witch since their damage is the highest per bullet.

Yea… Dead Air is my favorite, SNIPER HEAVEN~!! Until the last part where M16 for the win~!!!

Maybe is just me but the Uzi machine gun is total crap~!!
