Funny you should say that.
I was watching this episode last night, and Ryuuji’s voiceovers struck me as incredibly reminiscent of Takemoto’s in H&C, in both mood and delivery.

I meant more of commenting from their point of view than ours, really…

Which leaves me thinking, are they starting to see Ryuuji as a really reliable guy rather than just ‘that guy with the scary face’, thus dangerous….

Or are they just getting freaked out by him ranting under his breath?

Minorin running with Ryuuji = win. Strange how no one commented on the girls saying that Ryuuji was ‘dangerous’ when he revealed he was such a handyman, that it wasn’t the looks was ‘dangerous’.

Yeah, Interesting that the end of the midpoint episode implies Kitamura/Taiga and Ryuuji/Minorin rather than Taiga/Ryuuji.

I am also wondering if we have a mid-point switch where Taiga realizes her independence and self-reliance more, whereas Ryuuji starts realizing how much he depends on Taiga, whereas it was vice-versa for the first half of the season.

I see alot of interesting stuffs in this episode. Firstly, finally Taiga and Kitamura steps up. Secondly, and most importantly, it seems that Minorin’s becoming aware of Takasu’s feeling.
