I was way too emotional after this episode. Seriously, though is quite expected but why a car? Again, is pretty much predicted but somewhere in my heart and mind refuses to admit it... sigh... but great series... really great series~!

And I thought Kurogane would be more emotional on this episode, but it turns out that you are pretty fine... T_T

Remember, this is "melodies", last series' "memories"

And remember, the last story of the last series was also the most powerful. I have good expectations of how it will wrap up next 2 weeks.

>So, I’m guessing that was the same driver that hit Chihiro. Same day, too?

lol, he was just doing his job...it was the cheapest way to kill yuuko and get Chihiro blind
Still, I can't believe she died like that...I mean who goes in the middle of the street to pick a damn ball??? I wanted her to die in a heroic way, like saving miki or a terminal disease.
Also, I don't get it how did she manage to get under a tree...seriously, and nobody was around to help her.
Now, I just hope Kuze doesn't get hit by a truck

Your impression on this series seems to be very sceptical. This is a great series playing with viewer emotions. This episode as all other is 'perfect' in every way. Haven't You noticed that it is all colourless and from the beginning it is anticipable that the end will be a tragedy.
By the way for what reason You write this sentance: "Also why the fuck is Yu carrying Yuuko’s body and walking down the road slowly? Can’t they call an ambulance instead? Well, not like it’d make any difference in the end…" Well... she is dead already, so there is no reason to search for help.

I fear that You are not able to see this series higher that some point of it. Like there is not a better and much more valuable side of it, but there is. Compressed in the grafic, the lines, the german sentenced and the way characters are showed, how they act. There is more than that what meets the eye.
I hope I haven't offended You.

ukitava posted: "So, are there any chances for her to not die, having to be rescued at next ep?:( if not, well that’s quite disappointing really, first season had so happy ending and now the second is going to pee on it. Sucks." You impressed me... How in the world You are able to have hope for her to live? I know she was dead from the beginning of the "ef - a tale of memories" story. There is no chance she will survive as she is now - she is dead. And good that that happened. It makes an anime a good anime - when heroes die.

And one last thing... Why You all compare it to the game? The game is a game and the anime is an adaptation. In the game You choose. In the anime You watch. Don't make it look like You have more to say than You have.

You may don't like this series, You may disagree with me, but the fact is this will be rated high.

> Can’t they call an ambulance instead? Well, not like it’d make any difference in the end…

Answered your own question. The ambulance isn't needed at that point. (Also EDs aren't to be taken literally.)

finally got to see ep.10, loli Miki/Mizuki was soooooo cute...
Mizuki and Kuze's meeting at the park somehow reminded me of the movie "memoirs of a geisha" (the difference in their age i guess XD) however I'm disturbed by how Yuuko's scene under the tree looks like she's in a forest/park rather than the side of a street. o_O
